Chapter 14

Shuichi's POV

"The dream was about you."

I stared at him confused. He dreamt about me? "W-what was the dream about..."

Kokichi nervously played with his hair.
"I don't really want to talk about but..."

"I think it's important."

I nodded and told him to speak.

"I killed you."

What?
He killed me in his dream?
It was just a dream right...
If he didn't show me what he really was like. I'd be really scared.
...
To think that he could could me at any time.

"You dreamt about killing me..." I finnaly responded. Kokichi nodded and looked down at the ground.

"You wouldn't actually do it would you."

Kokichi stayed silent.

He...would?

Kokichi bit his lip and looked away from me. "Kokichi...p-please answer me."

I started to get a bit nervous.

"I don't know..."

How the hell am I supposed to respond to that?! He doesn't know?!

I backed up away from him.

He noticed this and looked up at me in shock.

"Y-you think I'm dangerous don't you..."

It was my turn to be silent.

Kokichi looked betrayed and hurt.

I should trust him...
maybe...he just doesn't trust himself...

I sighed and walked over to him. I put my hands in his shoulders.
"Kokichi...I trust you..."
He looked back up at me and stared into my eyes. He was trying to see any hints of me lying.
"I'm not lying Kokichi."

He softly smiled and hugged me.

"Thank you."
