 Regionals

I sat next to Artie as they announced the 2012 judges. "I hope we win!" I whispered to him. Warblers went first and I would've been annoyed but Sebastian is donating something or whatever, for Dave. Finn started to cheer for them and soon enough everyone was standing and cheering for them. The song I didn't like but it wasn't about competition, it was about Karofsky. I was kinda jealous when they sung Glad You Came because... I love that song!!

"Those Golden Goblet Madrigal singers were way better that I thought they'd be."

"Are you high? I couldn't hear their instruments at all."

"Show circle!" I shouted after Mr.Shue gave a mini speech.

"Okay, uh... Oh, Finn, you wanted to start us off?"

"Yeah. I know it's kinda of short notice, but after the competition, Rachel and I are going to get married. At the justice of the peace at the Lima Municipal Center." I looked at Kurt and sighed.

"Come on, bring it in!" We put all our hands in the circle and shouted "AaaaaaaaaaMazing!"

We performed Fly by Nicki Minaj. I got a turn to sing it and I gotta tell you! I love it some much!! We mashed up I Believe I can Fly with it. The next song was, What doesn't Kill you Makes you Strong but that was troubletones. "I think we killed it out there!" I smiled to Rachel "I just hope we win and then win nationals.... this is my last year and I would give anything to win!" She laughed. I looked over at Sam who has been eyeing me half the night.

"Yes, Samuel?"

"That's not my- Okay, Umm, I know I took you for granted but I miss you! I miss you so much!"

"I'll think about it but, after we win. Okay?" He nodded in agreement.

The last song was Here's to us, and only the girls got on stage and the boy's were like all over the place. After the song, when we got off stage, I grabbed Artie and kissed him but then whispered something to him. "If we win, I'm gonna kiss Sam." He smiled at me nodded. "It's fine, Jade. I know you love him." Third place went to, The Golden Goblets. Second, Warblers and First, The New directions! I ran to Sam and jumped into his arms. I pulled back and kissed him passionately and he let me. I winked at Artie and felt complete happiness! Nationals here we come!

The next day, was the wedding. I wore a bridesmaids dress and it was pink. We were waiting on Quinn now, while me and the girls were getting ready. "You look beautiful, Rachel." She took my hands and had the biggest smile. "I can't wait to be related by marriage to you and Kurt!" I hugged her and then she went out to see Finn, I don't know why? I snuck off to Sam, we aren't dating but we are friends. "You look, amazing." "Well it isn't my wedding, Sammy but thank you." We all waited in a room for almost an hour. What the hell is the hold up? Rachel wanted to wait so badly but it was now or well not never but now or not for a while. She kept texting and texting but no response.

Days passed and Quinn got hit by a car. Artie texted and said she was in a wheelchair. They both came rolling into the Choir room and started singing, ironically and sadly, I'm still standing. I sat next to Sam and leaned on him, holding his hand. "Here's a lesson for your broad, Mr.Shue. Don't text and drive. Ever." Quinn smiles widely and oddly she seemed happy about the whole thing. Sam and I aren't dating at all but we are closer then ever. He enjoys the comfort and I enjoy, well Sam. Apparently, there's a new person in charge of the Cheerios, so practice was weird. And booty camp, worse. Sue threw Mercedes' phone and practically yelled at everyone.

During lunch all the seniors got together and talked about senior ditch day. "Next year, is gonna be our year!" Sam shouted at the table. "You can calm down." I laughed. The bell rang and we went to glee club, Blaine's brother came and performed but after school I had a, friend date with Sam at Breadstix's where Blaine oddly was with his brother.

"Sam? What are we?"

"Friends, why?"

"Did that kiss mean nothing to you?"

"It- it did, Jade but, I wanna stay friends."

"Tell me what you felt then! Was it love! Lust! Friendship?!"

"It felt right!" He shouted but then lowered his tone.

"Then why deny, this." I reached for his hand but he pulled away. "See. Why don't you want this? Why don't you wanna be with me?"

"Cause i still love Mercedes. I love you but, I love her."

"Well, she doesn't love you." I got up and left a ten dollar bill to help pay and left.

We participated in senior day and went to six flags. I stopped talking to, Sam, again and we went on this amazing roller coaster but sadly I got stuck next to Sam. "This is fun rigHT!" He shouted as we went down. "Oh my god!" I laughed as we went in a loop. Everyone screamed and laughed at how fun the ride was. Later in the day and we got something to eat there. "I won a stuffed animal." Sam said coming up from behind me.

"It's big, maybe you should give it to Mercedes."

"I want you to have it."

"And why? So you can just take it away from me and not care?" I got up and left.

The next couple of days I ignored him. I felt kinda sad but I didn't care, I didn't wanna get hurt by him once again. Blaine, Brittany, and Mike all performed a dancing number for us. Vintage was the theme for Nationals this year. Every said they hated Disco, even Sam. I kinda like Disco, but I didn't wanna admit. Mr.Shue got us a dance floor? And put it in the middle of the room. It was Disco... "Are we having Disco week?!" I shouted "You bet your ass we are!" He shouted back. I smiled wildly but everyone look disgusted. But we are having a dance off and everything! I got up on the dance floor after Brittany but then Sam came up from behind me and started do his Body roll aka stripper move, and I forgot about everything so I went along with it and we both started to dance together and soon enough everyone was. We were walking in a circle and clapping our hands! Who doesn't like Disco! Everyone laughed and Santana, Finn, and Mercedes were the finalist for the suit.

"So are we friends again?"

I picked up my bag and rolled my eyes "Not unless you are gonna admit you wanna be with me?"
