Prom Date

This week is basically all about the seniors, mainly Kurt and Rachel. They are auditioning for NYDA. Half of the girls are working with Coach Beiste and Sue on a musical number, I don't know why. I was just so busy with my first date with Sam!! I dressed nicely and we went to, the middle of nowhere?

"Sam? Where are we going? Is the part where I die?" I joked.

"I set something up in a big field." He smiled and kept driving. When we finally arrived he blindfolded me whilst also getting something out of his trunk. I waited a couple minutes till he took my blindfolds off, It was a picnic!

"Sam!" I squealed and blushed. I kissed his cheek and sat down.

"I didn't want to go to Breadstix like always, I wanted it to be romantic, and then I'm thinking a romantic walk." I felt all warm and happy. We laughed and ate some sandwiches. It was so amazing! I mean I'm falling even more in love.

"Do you love me?" I asked laying down on the blanket looking up at him.

"Yes Jade, I love you." He looked down at me and kissed me. "But I still love her okay, I can't lie. But I want you and only you in this moment, nothing has ever felt so right!"

The following night, Sam was helping Puck out as I spent the Night with Kurt congratulating him and also worrying Rachel; she choked.

"What are you wearing to prom?"

"You'll see! It's so amazing! What about you?"

"Nothing to special but special. Cause I'm not a senior so next years dress is gonna be, Extravagant!" We both laughed and continued to watch our favorite musical together.

"I'm gonna miss you next year, Kurt." I cuddled him closer and felt sad.

"Don't worry, after next year your coming to New York, right?"

"Of course! I wanna go so much! I'm just jealous you get to go first." I pouted a little.

"Don't worry you'll have your chance."

It was now the following week, Prom week!! The theme is, dinosaurs? And the nominee for prom king and queen are, Rick "The stick" Nelson, Brittany S. Pierce, and Finn Hudson. Well those are the King's and the queen's are, Missy Gunderson, Santana Lopez, and Quinn Fabray. Becky Jackson really wanted to be prom Queen. I looked over to Sam and smiled "Maybe next year." We now have to find songs to go with the theme... Dinosaurs. How the hell? What songs? This is confusing. Sam, Tina, Artie, Mike and I all thought about what songs would fit.

"I'm so mad at Brittany I mean- Dinosaurs?" Tina shouted.

"It might be nice...." I tried to be positive about it but we couldn't find anything.

"You're so cute when your optimistic." Sam kissed my cheek and everyone rolled their eyes.

"We are never gonna get anything done with Finn and Rachel two point O." Everyone laughed and rolled their eyes. The bell rang and we went to the choir room. Rachel and Kurt are hosting an anti-prom. I look at Sam and mouth 'no' he chuckled softly, and then once again Santana gives a rant about Rachel.

We arrive at prom, and I have the biggest smile on my face! I mean last year I went in a group with Sam but this year, I'm going with Sam! Brittany is singing a dinosaur song surprisingly. We watch her perform and dance around enjoying prom.

"You look beautiful tonight."

"So do you." I laughed.

"So wanna go get our picture taken?"

"I'd be happy too." There was this rocking dinosaur that looked so cool!

"This prom is actually, amazing!" We get on the dinosaur and try our best to stay steady; he puts his arms around me and puts his head on my shoulder. After the picture, Santana starts singing Love you like a Love Song.

"Oh my god! I love this song!!" We both start to slow dance but not slow dance at the same time. He kisses me and I put my arms around his neck and practically lifted off the floor, till I am and he swings me around.

"So you know how you said 'maybe next year' when we didn't get nominated?" I nodded to his question "Well maybe next year we can try to get nominated and try to win?"

"I'd love that!" Suddenly I see basically everyone who bailed on prom walk through the door. Sam went up on stage a started song with half of the boys, What makes you beautiful. I stood at the front of the stage and cheered him on and he kept staring at me. I reached my arm out like a fan girl and he pulled me on stage and started to jump around with me. I started to sing along silently and kept laughing as he picked up Artie. We got off stage and continued to dance. Puck and Becky show up with fake crowns, that's cute. Oop- puck spikes the punch.... Finally!

"Wanna get punch?" I wink and we both head over and get a lot of punch. They were about to announce the Prom King and Queen and Blaine- his hair isn't even bad.... but that's besides the point! Hopefully Brittany and Santana get it! And as principal Figgins said Finn Hudson everyone cheered, but when he said Rachel Berry for Queen. Everyone was shocked. But glee members applauded her. "Go, Rachel!" I could see how happy she was and shocked. Take my breathe away starts playing that's my favorite slow dancing song besides last years Dancing Queen; everyone starts dancing and I pull Sam close for the slow dance.

"This is the most perfect night ever!" We all looked up to see Quinn standing.

"It's a prom miracle." Sam says in an impression and we both laugh and continue to dance.

"Can't wait for our Senior prom. And nationals this year, I really feel like we are gonna win!" He lifts my legs up and puts them on his feet "Won't this hurt?"

"Of course not." He smiled. As the song faded my night was made and I've never felt more happier.
