Katy and Gaga

When I heard that throat explosion, and after Tina screamed and Blaine reminded us why we should be scared of them for Nationals my head was spinning and I Kept thinking what the hell we gonna do now?! 

"Look around, we're a room full of, like, Katy Perry's now."

"Oh, you best check your spectrum, Queen T, because orange is the new black, and Unique is the new Gaga."

"Well, not Marley; she's a Katy Perry. So is Sam, so is Blaine."

"I'm a Katy Perry and I'm proud of it."

"I think I'm both...." I mumbled.

"Sorry, Jade what was that?"

"Mr.Shue I'm a Gaga and Katy."

"You know what! We're gonna mix it up a little bit. We're turning our weaknesses into our strengths." He wrote Katy vs. Gaga on the broad and turned around." This week, the Katy's will get their Gaga on and the Gaga's will bring the Katy and as for you Jade I want you to perform a mashup and you can ask for help obviously but I wanna see you bring your strengths together into one, for even more of a challenge and as for the rest of you guys you'll work together to perform something out of your Comfort zone!"

"So I'll perform by myself?" I got a little nervous.

"Yes but don't worry like I said you will get help from me if needed." He smiled and the bell rang and we left the class.

"That seems challenging, don't you think?" Sam asked putting his arm around me as we walked to his locker. "Nerve Racking but doable." I stated as he opened his locker. "Oh I love that show!" "True Jackson?" He asked.

"Duh!"

"Thank god! You are definitely fifty percent Katy!"

"Yeah fifty fifty for me!" We both laughed and he kissed me "After school we need to go to the Mall so you can look for stuff, for you and me."

"I do wanna take over this Gaga week so I can show you I can do both as well."

"I love you just the way you are but I would love to see you go Gaga." I kissed him bye and went to my class.

After school, Sam and I went to the mall to look go shopping; of course as you do at a mall. When we arrived I immediately wanted to take him to hot topic. "Can we hurry up this place kinda scares me." He muttered. "Awe, my baby is scared. Just squeeze my hand." I held out my hand and he sighed "I'm not a baby." And then immediately got scared again by a mask and then squeezed my hand. "If you wanna go Gaga this is kinda of the place babe." We walked around and we both got stuff that was gonna be useful. I had an idea that I would make a Katy Gaga outfit colorful but edgy! After shopping we went to the food court and got some food; of course. "So what two songs are you thinking of mashing up together?"

"I think Love Game by Gaga and E.T by Katy?"

"I've only heard one of those songs but yeah! Sounds amazing." He smiled and we continued eating.

The next day rolled around and it was time for the Katy's to perform! The music to Applause started and the curtain fell showing Sam standing on some stairs shirtless and might I say, Gaga was working on him but it wasn't my sweet Sammy! That's why I love him so much! But other than that everything was per- What the Fuck. Marley runs out on stage looking like Katy Perry herself! I mean I didn't care but other people would. I felt kinda bad.... but the performance was absolutely amazing! Sam has outdone himself. After the performance they argued and Marley got suspend for a week from glee club. I ran on stage after her and she looked so frustrated. "Marley! Wait!" she turned around and sighed.

"I just didn't want to change my self!"

"I get that, okay? But it was for the performance and I know that you are scared that Jake won't want some boring Katy and that if he doesn't want some boring old Katy then that's his problem but also I'm not saying your boring and old but Jake really likes you okay?" She frowned and I hugged her tightly. "And if he doesn't want a boring old Katy then that really is his problem!" She laughed and I caressed her cheek whipping her tears.

"Thank you so much Jade, you are truly one of my closest friends." We stared at each other for a moment before she leaned in and kissed me. I pulled back and was kinda in shock. "Oh...Oh my god Jade I'm sorry. I didn't- I don't know-" She started to cry again and I hugged her tightly."Marley it's fine." I pulled back and smiled at her "It was just in the moment, okay?" Marley shook her head yes and proceed to walk out of the auditorium.

When I was lying in bed that night I couldn't get that kiss out of my head, I didn't mind it and also wasn't revolted or anything. It stressed me out so I took something and fell fast asleep. The next day I was performing, When the Gaga's performed it was totally Katy! I was just really nervous for my performance. "Break a leg." Marley smiled at me before going to the back of the auditorium to see me perform. I got on stage and smiled.

*Music starts playing to E.T*

Everyone applauded and the nerves went away. "Jade I can't believe you did that! And without my help! Also your outfit! You got these big heels and a mix of Katy and Gaga type dress with fishnets and this blue wig! Amazing! You nailed this weeks assignment and so did all of you! Give your selfs a hand!" Every clapped for themselves and Sam ran up the stage and hugged and picked me up and twirled me around. "You did amazing my little Katy Gaga!" I looked him in the eyes and kissed him. "I like being A Katy Gaga!" I looked at the back of the auditorium and saw Marley clapping but in sign language. I smiled and she picked up her bag and left.
