Prom

It was officially prom night and I waited for Sam and Artie to show up. Kitty and I got ready upstairs so it's basically a double date. "I hope you win, I mean Tina has been acting so weird lately."

"Your telling me. Kitty, she threw a slushee in my face."

"What is her problem anyways?"

"I don't know. I mean Tina said she wanted to be closer with me this year but, this week has been horrible."

Minutes went by and Sam showed up at the door and we headed to the car. Artie and Kitty road in the back of Sam's car. When we arrived we went to get our pictures taken; as a group and as with our dates. I don't get the theme but it was pretty good. Tina kept giving me looks and kept whispering to her friends. I didn't really care cause me and Sam were having an amazing time. "This is our year, baby!" Sam twirled me around and danced around a lot. "I can feel it! We are definitely winning." Kitty and I started dancing together while Sam and Artie did the same. Girls came up to me and told me how I looked amazing and I smiled and hoped they were gonna vote for me.

It was finally time, I was on stage as Sue announced Sam winning and me! I got my crown and other things and smiled and waved as everyone clapped. I heard Tina yell "Now" and I stopped smiling until a bucket of slushee fell onto my head and the bucket fell onto Sam's head knocking him out. People gasped but other people laughed. I shook Sam and started tearing up; did Tina do this? "Did you do this Tina?" I yelled at her in front of everybody. "Yes but I totally regret it now." I dragged Sam off stage and he woke up. I ran to the choir room and sobbed. Everyone in the glee club came running in for help. Artie with towels and everything. "I didn't mean to I just wanted this to be my night." Tina cried.

"How could you? You threw a slushee in my face and then you pour a bucket of it on my head! Also knocking out Sam. Now I can't even enjoy my prom!"

"Let's get you cleaned up."

"And into a new dress, it's still your night." Kitty lended me her dress and wore a regular outfit. Tina waited in the gym and saw me walking out cleaned up and ready to give a speech or whatever. Sam and I walked on stage and smiled awkwardly. "What are you waiting for? I wanna get my slow dance on!" Everyone applauded and Blaine and Kitty went on stage and sung Hey Jude. Sam and I danced to the song and I saw Tina in the corner in my eye "I'm not mad, just disappointed." I told her as she approached us. She got on stage and started singing with them as did the whole glee club. "I told you It was our night." I whispered to him.

Tina and I worked everything out and had a small crying session. Everyone was happy and perfectly fine. Until Carol got a call, a call that threw my off course and made me scared. She broke out crying and dad comforted her; I called Kurt shockingly.

"Okay, slow down!"

"F-F-Finn is...is... He is dead." I heard him drop the phone and Rachel ask what was going on. She picked up the phone and I could tell she was confused.

"What's wrong? Jade what happened? Why is Kurt crying?"

"Rachel I'm so sorry!"

"What?"

"Finn has passed away."

"What? Your joking right? Finn is fine!"

"No, we just got the news." I could tell she froze and dropped the phone just like Kurt. I walked out the front door of the house and walked all the way over to Sam's house. "Did you walk here? You look tired. And shocked, is something wrong?" I hugged him tightly and felt safe, like I was finally home. But then it all hit me and i broke down crying.

"Finn's gone."
