Xavier POV
I was in the dining hall. It was full to the brim with hungry wolves enjoying their meal as one big family like we do. I told the guards to send for Xenobia. That was long enough ago that she should be here. Since she wasn’t, I could only assume she was up to some form of rebellion or trouble, which was exactly the opportunity I needed to make her pay. I tried to be patient, but I could tell many wolves were finishing their meals and only still present because Xander was there. He was only still present to see how this unfolded. He hadn't touched his food.
I sent another guard to go see what the hold-up was, and to get the damn prissy, stubborn, hard-headed she-wolf up here pronto, Beta’s orders. Xander interrupted saying Alpha’s orders. It was pretty obvious he was anxious to see what I had in mind. The guard’s eyes were extra rounded as he split in the direction on the dungeon. “Do I need to handle this brother? I’d gladly step in and handle her.” He snarled.
“It’s the one thing that is NOT up for debate!” I snarled back. “She is MINE!”
Xander gave me a knowing look, and I was reminded I had another promise to keep with him. Alex was still missing. I told him I wouldn’t rest until she was found. I had a heavy plate at the moment, which was only further confirmed as four guards dragged a hissing Xenobia into the hall. She was suddenly the star of the hour, as the hall grew instantly silently.
She had a shower curtain wrapped around her body. Some of the hooks were still attached. She was clinging to it as two guards pulled her forward by her chains and the other two had an arm each. I don’t think she was actually walking, but each of them was definitely bleeding and disheveled. I had to put my hand in front of my mouth to hide the smile and the chuckle. She certainly was Alpha material. The damn hell-hound.
If she were male, she’d have given Xander and I a run for our claim.
Now it was time to give her a taste of her own cruelty. I was certain it would be the most bitter pill she’d ever swallow. They brought her front and center. I came forward taking the shackles from the two guards. I looked at the four of them. “You let her do this to you?”“We were the lucky ones.” One of them chuckled uneasily.
I looked at Xenobia wide-eyed, “And what of the unlucky ones?”
“There are three in the infirmary being treated. They were bleeding badly.”
I couldn’t hide the smirk on my face as I dismissed the lot of them. They retreated with a hurry. I’m sure happy to be done with her. She was visibly casting venomous daggers at me.
“Xenobia Moon should I add their injuries to your list of crimes?” She was silent, but I could hear her mentally cursing the day I was born. So I goaded her further. “Do we need to publicly discuss all the discretions you’ve had. Especially your most recent ones? Should we tell the whole pack what you have done Xenobia? Should I tell them how your very life hangs in my hands?” I pull her chains forward as I spit each line at her. I can feel her cringe more with each syllable.
The more emotionally distraught she became the more I could feel her emotions. She wanted to hate me, but she couldn’t. It clenched my insides tight, twisting them up, but it needed to happen.
Instead of looking away and backing down, she looked me straight in the eyes. They burned with hate and need. She showed me her pain, and her regret. It was hard to bear knowing I still had a task to complete. She was one to stand firm and hold her ground and I had to be stronger than her will. “You have done nothing but take your whole existence Xenobia and use people to get what you wanted. Do you deny it?” She remained silent.
I snatched the shower curtain from her body in one swift motion. She gasped, as I revealed her nudity to the room. Her rage finally simpered some as it was replaced with shame. “Since you can’t deny it. I want you to know I am stripping you of everything so that you might feel what you have inflicted on others. You will have nothing, unless it is earned by my hand. Do you understand me Bitch? You don’t even have a name anymore.”
