Over the time that we've traveled, I've grown surprisingly close to everyone. Seemingly, erasing my shyness. I was also caught up on why Yona's gathering the Four Dragons. Although, it didn't make much sense to me because I don't even know who this Soo-Won guy is. But hearing his name made my stomach turn. A few days ago, we started searching for the Green Dragon again and ended up at a port town.
Everyone's gasping at the view with joy. Admiring the beautiful area.
"Hak, that's the ocean down there isn't it?! How pretty! I've never seen it before!" Yona smiles.
"You've never seen an ocean before?" I ask. "Well, it's not like you remember what an ocean looks like." Yona retorts, blushing in embarrassment.
"I remember this place. It's Port Awa. An Earth Clan territory." Hak says.
"Earth Clan?" I ask.
"Jees, you're like a newborn baby sometimes." Yoon sighs. Yona, Hak, and Yoon quickly explain how the world runs along with a few side details. "Kija, you sense the Green Dragon?" Yona asks.
"Yes but, his movements are so fast there making me sick!" Kija complains, falling over. "Kija died." I say plainly. "We've all had a really long journey. Before anything else, we need to rest and find something to eat." Yoon suggests. Yona, Kija, Shin-Ah, and I start celebrating in our own weird way.
"I can't wait to see this place. Maybe it'll help me remember something!"
"Hang on! None of you blend it at all! Especially you with the mask!" Yoon scolds. While Shin-Ah sits in the corner with Kija patting his back, I look out to the port. "Ah come on Yoon! I'll blend in just fine." I smile, admiring the ocean from afar. "No way! You don't even remember how this world works!" Yoon yells. I pout and join Shin-Ah in the corner of shame with Kija patting both our back. 'So mean' appearing above my head.
"I kinda remember my way around so I'll get supplies. The rest of you hide." Hak orders. "Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait." I repeat, stumbling my way up and running over. "I gotta come!" I say. "Oh? Why's that." Hak asks. "To get a weapon!" I cheer. "Do you even know what kind of weapon you can use?" Yoon asks. "Well, no~. Buuut, I may know on instinct. Like I'll be drawn to it or something." I say. "That is the most stupidest thing I've ever heard." Hak deadpans. "You know what? People who call people stupid are stupid!" I pout. "Come on, Hak! I won't cause any trouble." I say. Hak sighs in defeat. "Alright fine, but you can't get into any trouble." Hak says. "Yes, sir!" I salute, straightening my posture.
"Be careful while you're down there. The last thing we need is someone getting into trouble." Yoon says, eyeing me. "Don't look at me. Stupid Beast is the one you should be looking out for." I say, patting Hak's arm. "It's Thunder Beast, bird-brain. And didn't you just say something about how stupid people call people stupid?" Hak mumbles. "Potato, Patato." I say, waving him off, ignoring the last part.
Hak and I walk our way through town in search of supplies. A girl starts hitting on Hak but he comes back with 'I've got a younger woman waiting for me.'
"Oh cause that didn't sound bad." I snort, covering my mouth. Hak wacks me in the back of the head and continues walking.
Something about this town didn't seem right. At first glance, it looked like an ideal, happy place to live. But, with closer inspection, you can see the frowns all these people are hiding. It's like they're all acting to be happy. But who are they acting happy for? I wonder.
"Someone help!"
Hak and I come to a halt and turn to see a woman being held by two soldiers. I stare at the scene in horror as the soldiers try to drag the lady off. The woman continues crying for help as everyone turns their backs. Ignoring the scene in front of them.
