A Wise Mother Once Said...

'This place again?' I think, looking around the black abyss. My head pain diminished when I came here. Funny, cause last I was here, it was the cause of my pain.

I walk forward, scanning the area for anything. But, again, this place looks empty.

I sigh and sit down, leaning my back against the nothingness around me. 'I wonder how the others are holding up. They must be worried.'

All of a sudden, a bright light flashes, and I put my arms up to shield my eyes.

Flashes.

Where am I? What's going on?

Everything was dim and blurry. I look around and see armed soldiers running around.

"We...hurry....killed!"

"Princ....Gene....led...Air....escaped."

I look around and see myself, hiding behind bushes.

I suddenly jolt up and jumped onto the roof. I was running toward a gate.

There's a time skip

An unknown man puts something over my eyes.

"Don't worry. You won't remember this."

My eyes suddenly shoot open and I jolt upright. My breathing made it seem like I just ran a marathon. Sweat drenches my face and clothes. I look around the room and see I'm in the infirmary. I try to calm my breathing down. Attempting to convince myself I'm safe and okay.

"Eh? You're awake sugar pie?" An unknown voice asks. My body tenses up and snaps towards the voice. I could feel my eyes vibrating in fear as I had no idea what's going on. Or why's there's a stranger here. Where's Yoon and the others?

"Calm down, I'm one of Captain Gi-Gong's pirates. I was just checkin' on my buddy over here." The pirate says, motioning to a sleeping form on the ground. 

"H-how long have I been out?" I ask, my throat dry from having little to no water since who knows when. "3 days. Your little group is worried sick ya know? They didn't leave ya side for a whole day 'til Captain forced them to leave. But, ta mask guy an' little girl stayed wit' ya." The pirate says.

I nod and get off the ground. My feet stumbled and I tripped on a pillow. A squeal escapes my mouth as I squeeze my eyes and brace myself, but instead of a rock hard landing, I was caught. I immediately knew who it was by the comforting aura surrounding me and I couldn't help but smile.

"Hey, Shin-Ah." I mumble happily, not moving from the position I'm in. Shin-Ah ended up grabbing my hand to catch me then pulled me into his chest. His arms are wrapped securely around my back, holding me close to keep me from falling.

"You...scared me." Shin-Ah admits, slightly tightening his grip on me. "Gomen." I say, closing my eyes.

"Please don't look, Princess, they could be doing something dirty." A voice says, scaring me out of my wits. "Hak!" I yell, pushing off Shin-Ah and glaring at him. I moved way too fast. My head starts to bang against itself. But, not as bad as it usually is. This pain felt different.

"Don't move too fast, idiot. You gave yourself a concussion with that stunt you pulled." Yoon scolds, walking up to me, placing a hand on my forehead. "Even with the Cheonsu Plant, a head injury takes time to heal." Yoon explains. I hear small whimpers from behind Yoon and look over. Next to Hak, I see Yona crying, trying to silence it by covering her mouth. "Yon-" I start to say until red hair clouds my vision. She runs into a hug but thankfully kept the force to a minimum.
