Chapter Twenty-Eight

Accident

Andre's POV

Two gunshots, echoed inside the room. Tyler's gone now. I can finally get my Jewel back.

"Kuya!" Cel called me.

Bakit may dugo coming from her?

Para akong nabibingi, nanginginig na kinarga ang mahal ko.

Don't die on me please.

"Tulong! Ihatid niyo kami sa hospital!" We entered the police car.

She's still breathing, she can do this.

Why is this police drives so fucking slow? Can't he see somebody is dying here?

Kakabalik niya lang samin, kukunin ulit?

I'm holding her hand, her brothers are crying beside me. Please don't go, we can't afford to lose you.

"Nurse! Help!" They immediately get a stretcher at pinahiga ko siya doon.

"Hey baby, don't leave please. Please," I said as we push the stretcher.

"Sir, you're not allowed to enter. Please stay here," says the nurse.

"Wala akong pake! Papasukin niyo ko!"

Inawat ako ni Cel at ipinaupo.

"Pasensya na po," sabi ni Cel sa nurse at umalis na ito.

I cried and cried, how did it happen?

Ang bilis ng mga pangyayari, she got two shots.

"Calm down kuya," she rubbed my back.

"Paano ako kakalma? Nag aagaw buhay na ang asawa ko sa loob, tas kakalma lang ako?!"

Cel didn't respond but she just keep on rubbing my back.

"W-Why does Mawi entered that room?" Asher asked, his eyes are puffy and he's still crying.

I hugged him, I can't answer you. I can't find comforting words to say.

"Why is she only wearing a bra?"

"Pinasuot niya sa'kin ang damit niya Kuya k-kasi," I looked at her. I just noticed she's wearing her shirt.

"Kasi ano?"

She started crying on my shoulder, why?

"H-He almost d-did it Kuya," she sobbed. Palakas ng lakas ang paghikbi niya.

"Anong ibig mong sabihin?"

"H-He kissed my body a-and--" I stopped her by hugging her tightly.

Ginalaw niya ang dalawang babae na pinaka importante saakin.

"Ang b-baboy niya Kuya, ang baboy baboy niya!" she keeps on punching my chest.

He deserve to die, that fucking bastard deserve to rot in hell.

"Shh, Kuya is here. Wala na siya, okay?" I kissed the top of her head.

I hugged the three of them.

Lord, I barely pray and talk to you. I know sobrang kapal ng mukha ko na hilingin to pero make our life peaceful again please. Save my Jewel, don't take her muna please. We need her here, I need her.

More nurses entered the O.R, I can't stop crying. Please, save her.

She's the Jewel in my precious treasure. Don't take my happiness away please..

"Andre! Thank God you're okay!" Brianna hurriedly ran to me, nakasunod lang sakanya si Aziel.

"Don't touch me." She stepped back.

"Where's Jewel bro?"

I pointed the room in front of us.

"Oh shit, what happened?" Tumabi siya kay Atticus na natutulog sa lap ni Cel. Nakakandong sa'kin si Asher.

"She got shot," I answered.

"Darling! I'm so worried of you! I thought may masamang nangyari sayo, huhu." Lumapit siya sa'kin para yakapin ako but I stopped her.

"Pwede ba Brianna? Umalis ka nga dito, Kailangan namin ng tao na may simpatya sa asawa ko."

"Uhh, I'm fine naman as your wife?"

"Andre never said he's yours, una pa lang. Huwag kang magmagaling kundi mapapatay kita dito mismo." Aziel said, ngayon ko lang siya narinig magsalita ng ganyan.. at sa kapatid pa niya mismo.

Brianna didn't care about Aziel said.

"Tsk, let's go home na. I'll treat your wounds," pagpupumilit niya.

"Putangina naman eh! Hindi ka ba makaintindi? Bobo ka ba? Ayaw ko nga sa'yo, mahirap bang intindihin yon?"

She went silent, ang naririnig lang namin ay ang paghikbi ni Asher sa dibdib ko.

"Umuwi kana," Aziel said to his sister.

"Ako ang nandiyan sa mga panahong wala siya Andre! Wala kang utang na loob!"

"I didn't need you!"

Tears fall in her cheeks, I'm sorry but you need to stop this.

"I'm pregnant!"

Everyone is shocked. What?! How?! I didn't even touched her.

"Remember that night? When we're drinking? It's the first time you said you love me, I thought it's real but you keep on saying her name!"

I do remember us drinking but I can't remember what she's saying.

Umalis siya sa harapan namin, Cel looked at me with disgust.

"What the hell bro?" Aziel said.

"Baka hindi akin yon, baka may iba pa siyang katalik. Hindi pwedeng maging akin yon," I said.

We went silent. Even Asher stopped crying.

I know myself, hinding hindi ko magagawa ang sinasabi ni Brianna. Oo, nag inom kami pero impossible na may nangyari saamin.

Lumabas na ang doctor. Agad akong tumayo. "Oh, She's fine now. Kailangan niya lang magpahinga, maswerte kayo at patuloy siyang lumalaban."

Abot langit ang saya ko sa narinig. "Doc, thank you so much."

He smiled. "It's our job sir." Umalis na ang Doctor, I hugged Cel but she didn't hugged me back. She only had plain emotion, I know she's been thinking what Brianna said.

"Hey, huwag kang maniwala sa sinasabi niya please. We don't know kung nagsasabi ba siya ng totoo,"

"Hindi ba talaga siya nagsasabi ng totoo Kuya o ayaw mo lang akuin ang pagkakamali mo?"

No, please. Don't talk to me like that Cel.

Tumayo siya at kinarga si Atticus, hinawakan niya naman sa kamay si Asher. Pumasok sila sa loob.

"I understand na ayaw mo sa kapatid ko pero kung sa'yo man yon, akuin mo naman sana o kahit suportahan mo na lang." Aziel said. "Tell Jewel I said get well soon." Umalis na siya sa harapan ko.

Naiwan ako sa labas, hindi to maaari. Kailangan kong siguraduhin kung akin ba talaga yon, I need to go.
