Toni Michele Braxton
"Happy twenty eight birthday Toni!" Everyone shouted.
I grinned at my cake that the waiters came pushing my way.
"Oh my god!" I squealed pretending to be surprised at the design of the cake even though I put together this entire birthday party.
"Make a wish!" My older sister Dina chanted.
"I hope she's wishing for a man." I heard my mother say immediately making me roll my eyes before I shut them.
I could've sworn I had made every single wish before and none of them ever came true, I can't believe people actually believe in this nonsense. I quickly opened my eyes and blew out the candles. I stopped making wishes a long time ago. Everyone cheered making me smile as I looked up and around at everyone, I barely knew some of them. I guess my sister did take it a little too far with the invitations.
"Happy birthday baby." My mother smiled pulling me into her embrace.
"Thank you mommy." I pecked her cheek.
For a 50 year old woman my mother could still bag a 20 year old little boy if she wanted too, not that I'd approve of it. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and took a small 30 second video of everyone, including my amazing cake. I smiled as I kept rewatching the video before I decided to post it on my Instagram.
