Nice-ish(ONGOING)

Molly girl

"I'm doing just fine.. Thanks" I reassure her.

"So it seems I'm invisible.. Very well then". Syd says and gets up to leave.

"Not at all sis.. I'll be going now. I bet Kylie will tell you everything when she's ready". She says and leaves.

Damn it!! I forget to ask for her name. Anyways, I can always ask Syd.

"So your sister... What's her name?" I ask trying to sound nice.

"Kendra". She says.

" K" I answer.

"So she has been friends with your sister.. And we didn't even know each other?" She asks

Responding, I smile.

Then I sight Molly.

"I'll be back" I say and leave.

...

"You there" I say trying to stop her, yet she increases her pace.

"I'm talking to you" I add, yet she walks even faster.

I manage to catch up with her, and I grab her shoulder and swiftly turn her around

She bends her head as though she is scared of me.

Well, she should be.

"You're the one right" I start assuming she's already aware of what I'm talking about.

"I'm talking to you" I add when she doesn't say anything.

"It was you, wasn't it?" I rephrase, still no response.

"Speak up or I'll hit you" I threaten.

She starts crying, covers her face and runs away.

Leaving me speechless.

...

I go over to my locker, and grab my books for the next class.

Not even in the mood to learn.

Once I'm done for the day, I drive back home.

...

"How was school today, dear?" Mum asks, changing the channel.

"Fine mum" I say, resisting the urge to tell her that I may have met a girl today, whose elder sister is Sam's bestie, and how we talked today, and how memories of Sam and Joe came flooding into my mind.

I head towards my room, open the door, and fling my bag to 'God knows where' and I fall on the bed, recalling all that happened earlier today...

I didn't even get the response I needed from that Molly girl. I ditched Syd in the cafeteria, after telling her I'll be back. At least, she was kind enough to send me my bag pack.

I quickly change my outfit and go downstairs to grab a snack, then leave for a walk.

...

The weather today is just perfect. I walk down the street, having no particular place in mind to go.

"CJ!" Syd yells as she sights me, and walks over.

This is the first time I'm actually talking freely to someone, well, after the incident.

I dunno why, but I made up my mind that day not to trust anyone coz I felt everyone's just cruel.

The whole world in fact.

"Hey, what are you doing out here" Syd says, bringing my mind back to earth.

"Just decided to go for a walk, no particular destination" I answer.

"Well, that's good. You should like, come over. My parents are out. Just me and Ken. Well, just Ken coz I'm here". She says

"Umm.."

"No umm. I insist" she says with a tone of finality, and grabs my hand.

...

After like five minutes, I find myself in her house.

"Look who's here Ken!" She yells, and Kendra looks over.

"Oh hi Kylie!" Kendra squeaks smiling.

"Hi" I mutter letting out a faint smile.

"So what do you drink? Soda, fruit juice, alcohol?" Syd asks, already in the kitchen.

"Mmmm" I reply shaking my head.

"I simply won't agree". She states. "You must drink something!!"

"Well-" I start but I get interrupted by a call.

Its my mom.

I rush outside to answer her, buying me some time.

"Hey mother..." I start then suddenly I see someone.
Its Molly!! Sitting on a bench across the street.

"Gotta go" I say ignoring her rants, and I hang up.
