Hey everyone! So my friend Sallys_Gurl74 is the one who gave me this idea. I gave her this version of the song to listen to, and she said she loved it and could imagine Billie dancing to it. So right then and there, I knew I had to write this. And my friend also helped me out with the dancing parts in it. Thank you so much, honey! I love you to death. 🥺😚❤

I was walking to the kitchen to get something to eat when I start hearing music playing faintly. Where's that coming from? I start walking around the house to try to find the music, and as I come closer to the girl's rooms, I notice it's coming from Billie's room. I put my ear to the door and can hear the music more clearly. 🎶I was tired of my lady, we'd been together too long. Like a worn out recording of a favorite song. So while she lay there sleeping, I read the paper in bed. And in the personal columns, there was this letter I read.🎶 I recognize the song immediately and grin softly. I opened her door slightly, peeked in and saw her petite and slender figure, in the middle of her room, with her back and her hips gently swaying side to side. Her arms were waving in the air, moving like gentle ocean waves through the soft sunlight shining through her room. Her whole body was in perfect rhythm with the music as the chorus started.

🎶If you like piña coladas, and getting caught in the rain. If you're not into yoga, if you have half a brain. If you like making love at midnight in the dunes on the cape, I'm the love that you've looked for, write to me and escape.🎶 I couldn't help but smile, watching her dancing around her room. She's so adorable when she's dancing... Her eyes were closed, with a soft smile on her face. Her head slowly began to sway from side to side as the music hit her harder. 🎶I didn't think about my lady, I know that sounds kinda mean. But me and my old lady had fallen into the same old dull routine. So I wrote to the paper, took out a personal add. And though I'm nobody's poet, I thought it wasn't half bad.🎶 As she danced, she turned around and opened her eyes, noticing me. I flinched back behind the door, blushing and slightly embarrassed that she caught me watching her.

Dang it, she saw me... I peeked around the door again, and saw her moving towards me. 🎶Yes, I like piña coladas, and getting caught in the rain. I'm not much into health food, I am into champagne. I've got to meet you by tomorrow noon, and cut through all this red tape. At a bar called O'Malley's, where we'll plan our escape.🎶 She walked slowly, putting one foot in front of the other, kinda like the way a catwalk model would, only more gracefully, all while gently swaying her hips and arms.
She looked like an angel... the way her golden hair bounced off her shoulders, the way her chocolate brown eyes gleamed in the sunlight. Wow, she is so beautiful...
As she reached the door, she gently pulled it open and held out her hand for me to take. "Would you like to dance with me, sweetheart?" She asked me with the sweetest, loving smile you've ever seen.

"I-I can't dance, Billie..." I put my head down, and she lifts my head up. "I can teach you." I took her hand softly, and she pulled me into the room and spun me around. Holding my hands, she began to move my arms up and down in a soft wave, in perfect rhythm to the music. 🎶So I waited with high hopes, and she walked in the place. I knew her smile in an instant, I knew the curve of her face. It was my own lovely lady, and she said "Oh, it's you." Then we laughed for a moment, and I said, "I never knew..."🎶 Billie spun me around a couple more times, before she suddenly picked me up bridal style, and spun both of us around the room, making me giggle. Billie chuckled at my reaction and she couldn't help but smile. I never get tired of hearing that laugh... Billie thought to herself.

🎶That you liked piña coladas, and getting caught in the rain. And the feel of the ocean, and the taste of champagne. If you like making love at midnight in the dunes on the cape, you're the lady I've looked for, come with me and escape.🎶 She put me down and I started to feel a little bit dizzy. I fall down onto her bed, breathing a little heavy, and grinning like an idiot. Billie lays down next to me and says, "You said you didn't know how to dance, but you were great, sweetheart!" She kisses my temple, making me chuckle softly. "Thanks, that was awesome, Billie. You're a really good dancer. We got to do that again, cause that was so fun." She chuckles and wraps her arm around me. "Absolutely, we should..."
