Well, everyone, I thought I would be generous and post this today. 👀🤭 Did any of you guess who it was? Hope you all like this one. Xoxo, Rhi~ ❤️
I was in my room, sitting on the bed, playing Star Wars: Battlefront 2 on my Playstation 4 when I heard the doorbell. Who's at the door? I pause my game and walk out of my room, going to the top of the stairs, and I hear Sally yell, "Oh my God! What the hell are you doing here?!" I get a confused look on my face before I hear a familiar voice reply, "What? A girl can't see her best friend from high school?" My eyes widen and I get the biggest grin on my face, making a beeline down the stairs. Oh my God, no way... I rush into the living room and see Sally and the familiar tall, blonde woman standing by the couch, smoking cigarettes. "Xandra!" She turns around and smiles at me, holding her arms out. "There's my princess!" I run and jump into her arms, wrapping mine around her neck as she wraps hers around my waist, lifting me off the ground. "How's my little dove?" She tussles my hair, making me giggle and grab her hand. "I'm good. I missed you."
I hug her around the waist tight, looking up at her with nothing but love and pure happiness in my eyes. Xandra has been in my life ever since I came into the girl's lives. Her and Sally have been best friends since they were in high school together, and let me tell you, they did everything; drugs, alcohol, partying, you name it. But after I came into Sally's life, she decided to get clean, so Xandra decided she'd get clean with her.
(Flashback, a week after the girls decided to raise me as their daughter)
"Sal, are you sure about this?" Xandra nervously asks as her and Sally are on their way back to the Academy from the grocery store. "Xan, quit being so nervous about this! Rhiannon is going to love you!" "I just don't know anything about kids, Sal. You know that better than anyone." Sally chuckles and lays a hand on Xandra's, trying to comfort her. "Yeah, but if Mina can turn from a purple, red headed dragon into the sweetest momma bear you've ever seen, I don't think you have anything to worry about, Xan." Xandra nods and looks out the window of Sally's car. What if she doesn't like me? What if I'm not a good aunt? They soon arrive back at the Academy, a bag of groceries in each of their hands as they enter the kitchen to find Billie and Cordelia sitting at the table, drinking tea and talking. "Hey, I got everything Rhi needed. You two remember my friend Xandra, right?" The girls look at Xandra and smile.
"Of course. Hello, Xandra." Xandra waves at them both, smiling back. "Billie Dean. Delia." Sally taps Xandra's shoulder, making her turn her head, looking at Sally, who has a soft grin on her face. "You wanna go meet her?" Xandra nods, feeling her heart start to beat a little faster. Sally takes her hand, leading her out of the kitchen and up the stairs. They get to my room and Sally slowly opens the door, seeing me in my crib, sleeping peacefully. "She's asleep right now, so keep your voice down.." Sally whispers. Xandra nods and they both walk into my room. Xandra walks over to the crib and sees me fast asleep. "She's so beautiful..." I make a soft noise in my sleep, making Xandra's heart melt. "She coos like a little dove..." Sally grins and gently lifts me out of the crib, holding me in her arms, leaving feather soft kisses on my head. "Hi, babygirl.. Do you wanna meet your auntie Xandra..?"
She walks over to Xandra and hands me over to her, while showing her how to properly hold me. Xandra holds me in her arms, gently swaying side to side. "Hi, sweetheart.. you're so beautiful.. so she just appeared on the doorstep?" "Yeah. Delia knew she would have her hands full running a school while trying to be a mother, so she called me, Billie and Mina to help her and we all just fell head over heels for this little angel." Sally leans in and gently kisses my head, making me start to stir and open my eyes and see this unfamiliar, blonde woman holding me. "Sal, she woke up.." Xandra's eyes widen slightly, nervous of what to do. "Well, say hi to her, then.." Xandra looks back down at me with a small smile on her face, whispering softly, "Hi, sweetheart. I'm Xandra, your mommy's friend..." I reach up and grab the ends of her hair, making them both chuckle. "I think she likes you, Xan.." they both smile at each other before Xandra looks back down at me, brushing her index finger against my cheek. "Do you like me, little dove..?" I look up at her and coo softly, grabbing the tip of her finger, making Sally smile. "I think she just answered your question, Xan.."
