Hey guys! So here's mine and Merlyn's first date! I hope you all like it! I'll be posting more this week. ❤

It was Saturday night, and I'm in the bathroom, brushing my hair and teeth, waiting anxiously for Merlyn for show up. As I'm finishing up my hair, I hear the doorbell. Oh shit, she's here... I look myself over in the mirror before being satisfied with how I look and walk out to the living room and see Merlyn sitting on the couch with the girls. "Hey, Merly!" "Hey, Rhi!" She stands up and walks over and hugs me tight, then kisses my temple, making me blush slightly. "You all set?" I nod and hug the girls bye. "Be home by eleven, the latest, okay?" We both nod and walk out to Merlyn's car. She opens the passenger door for me and I grin. "Thank you, Merlyn." She gets into the driver's seat and looks at me. "Now that your moms aren't around, I can do this."

She cups my face and kisses me, making me giggle and I kiss her back. She pulls away and lays her forehead against mine. "Hi..." she kisses the tip of my nose, making me giggle. "Hi." "So, what do you want to do?" I shrug and say, "I don't know, I thought maybe you'd have something planned." She thinks for a few seconds, tapping her nails on the steering wheel until she gets a small grin. "How about we go to the park? Maybe we can take a nice walk..." she brushes my hair behind my ear, and I close my eyes from her touch. "That sounds nice. So our first date will be where we first met?" She chuckles and nods. "Yes, ma'am..." as we're driving, she takes my hand and intertwines our fingers together and almost every ten seconds, she'll lift up my hand and leave a kiss on the back of it, making me blush a little.

We arrive at the park and she opens my door for me again. "Man, aren't you being classy tonight?" I chuckle, taking her hand. She kisses the back of my hand and wraps her arm around my shoulder. "Only to you, darlin'..." I chuckle softly and we walk around the park for a while, watching kids run and roll around in the grass and watching the leaves in the trees blowing in the wind. As we're walking, Merlyn stops in front of a man selling ice cream. "Do you want anything, Rhi?" She asks, pulling her wallet out of her pocket. "No, I'm good, Merly." "You sure, honey? I'll get whatever you want..." I feel my heart start to flutter and I can feel my cheeks getting warm from her calling me honey. "Okay. I'll take strawberry." She pays the man and hands me my ice cream.

"Thanks, Merly. You didn't have to buy me one, you know." She wraps her arm around my neck and pulls me closer to her. "But I wanted to. I want you to have whatever you want, darlin'..." she kisses my temple, making me blush and turn my head away from her. "What's wrong, darlin'?" I blush again and shake my head at her. "N-nothing..." she brushes my hair behind my ear, and I can feel my heart beating faster. "Are you sure?" I nervously nod, making her smirk. "You're too cute..." she kisses my temple and we continue walking. "Hey, can I take you somewhere else?" "Sure, where are we going?" She smirks and tugs on my hand, taking us back to her car. "It's a surprise..." I arch my eyebrow, and she pouts at me, stopping us both. "Don't give me that look, sweetie pie..."

She puts her hands on my waist and kisses my forehead. I grin softly and wrap my arms around her neck. "Why not?" she chuckles and lifts my chin up. "Cause, I hate seeing your adorable face sad..." She cups my face and kisses me softly. She then lifts me up, swinging me around, making me squeal. "Merly! Put me down!" She puts me down and kisses my forehead and we walk back to the car. We get in the car and she tells me to close my eyes. "Why?" "Cause it's a surprise, you doof!" I close my eyes and we start driving, and after ten minutes, I feel the car stop and she tells me to open my eyes. "We're here... open your eyes, babe." I do, and I gasp in amazement, seeing we're on a cliff that looks over the town. "Whoa... Merlyn, it's beautiful..."

She smiles and gets out of the car and walks over to my side, opening the door for me. We walk to the edge of the cliff and sit down with me on her lap, looking at the town. "Did you have a good first date?" I turn my head and smile and nod. "It was perfect. Thank you..." I turn my body around and wrap my arms around her neck and she wraps hers around my waist. "Good..." she mutters into my neck, holding me tighter. "Can I tell you something?" I pull away and say, "Sure. What is it?" "Well, when we met, I thought you were the cutest little thing I'd ever seen." I chuckle and lay my forehead against hers. "Then after we became friends and started talking every day, you made my life a million times better. And then that night when you came for a sleepover, I'd never been happier."

She brushes the hair out of my face, and I close my eyes, grinning from her touch. "And when we kissed that night, something changed. I felt... different about you. At first I just thought maybe it was cause you was my first kiss, but... after you told me you liked me, I knew I didn't just like you as a friend anymore..." she leans in and kisses me softly, holding me like I'm the most precious thing in her life. I wrap my arms around her tighter and pull her closer, kissing her deeper. She pulls away and rests her forehead against mine. "You have no idea how much you mean to me, Rhi... you're my best friend, and I care about you so much." She kisses the tip of my nose and hugs me tight, running her hand up and down my back, rocking us back and forth.

"I care about you so much too. You've made me so happy in the short time we've known each other." I kiss her cheek and lay my head on her shoulder. "Thank you for tonight. I had an amazing night with you." She brushes my hair behind my ear and kisses my forehead. "Anything for you, darlin'..." "Do you think we could do this again?" She nods and lifts my head up and pecks my lips. "Of course we can. I'd love to take you out again..." I lay my head back down on her shoulder, holding her tight as she runs her fingers through my hair, kissing the top of my head every so often. "We should get you back home, honey. It's getting late." I pull away and nod, and we get up and head back to the car. We pull up to my house and I take Merlyn's hand. "Thank you again for tonight. I had the best time."

She grins and leans over and kisses me. "You're welcome, darlin'." We kiss a couple more times before I get out and walk inside the house to see Sally sitting on the couch, watching TV. "Hey, babygirl! How was your night out with Merlyn?" I think about our date in my head and I get a huge grin on my face. "It was perfect..."
