I can't quit you.

Hoseok stared at Yoongi, his eyes full of love, pupils dilated and everything. If you were to ask someone, "Is Jung Hoseok in love with Min Yoongi?," based on the look on Hoseok's face, the answer would be yes. Now, it's not Hoseok's fault Yoongi is oblivious.

But it's also not his fault Yoongi happens to be straight.

Hoseok's look of admiration quickly turned into a small scowl as Hoseok watched Yoongi "subtly" check out Sooyoung who was sitting a couple seats away from them. He scoffed and rolled his eyes as Yoongi let out a low whistle.

"Men...," he whispered to no one in particular as Yoongi turned to stare at him. "What's your deal?," Yoongi asked the other, catching him off guard. "Me? I just forgot about some homework." Hoseok said, not exactly lying as he indeed had forgotten about homework. Yoongi scoffed. "Stop acting so pissed off then, it's just homework," Yoongi said as he turned back to look at Sooyoung. Hoseok internally groaned, everyday was a struggle when you're in love with your chad best friend.

Hoseok watched with a curious expression as Yoongi violently sat down, his fist clenched. Taehyung and Namjoon followed suit, huge grins on their faces. "What happened?" Hoseok asked as he dipped his spoon into a pudding cup. "Sooyoung rejected me," Yoongi said, face glum. However, there was something more to it. He almost seemed...embarrassed? 

Namjoon started laughing. "You wanna know why? Sooyoung's been a lesbian this whole time with a sophomore girlfriend," Namjoon  said, grin growing wider as his dimples made an appearance along with it. Hoseok let out a chuckle before looking at Yoongi's pouting face and feeling his stomach erupt with butterflies. 

"It's okay Yoon, you'll get em' next time," Hoseok said sympathetically to the slightly shorter male.

Yoongi did get the girl next time. He tried his luck with a girl in their grade, she was a pretty redhead who's name Hoseok couldn't be bothered to remember as he knew in one week she'd be history.

Hoseok watched with resentment towards the girl as she held Yoongi's hand and batted her long eyelashes at the eager Yoongi.

"Should be me..." Hoseok thought bitterly as he walked at a slower pace than them, causing him to fall behind. He quickly lost sight of them as they walked ahead of him on the busy street. "Well now what...," he said to himself, scowl once again apparent on his face. He wandered into a little shop, a black hoodie with simple white embroidery of a crescent moon catching his eye. His legs moved in their own as gravity practically pulled him towards the hoodie. He picked up the sleeve gently, falling in love with it already. "Yoongi would love this...," Hoseok said, eyes fond as he thought of said person.

He checked the price tag and internally died as he saw the price. His mind came up with a million reasons why he shouldn't buy it, but the reasoning of "it's for Yoongi," topped all of it and he ended up purchasing it.
