*Priya’s POV*

I took a shower at the end of the day. I’m so exhausted with all that happened. I laid down on my messy bed and began to think about school. It was all on my mind lately. But I suddenly had the mental image of that Jack guy I met earlier today. He was so close to my face! How could he have done that to me? We just met. It’s ridiculous what people do these days, I can’t imagine what he does to girls he knows well. Gaah! Oh mah gawd. I did not just picture that. Oh no, is my face red? *touches cheeks* Oh no! I am! >.<

*Jack’s POV*

Guh~ life is so plain. I kicked off my shoes and jumped onto my neatly made, king sized bed. I looked up at the ceiling. Gosh…that corn chick is interesting. Dammit, should’ve got her name. Woah woah, wait. Why am I thinking about her? I’ve seen so many cuties today, why is she on my mind? Oh that reminds me! I rummaged through my pockets. Here it is, that note she attached to the stupid cob of corn she threw at my head. No wonder I’m thinking about her, the girl threw a damn cob of corn at me! I un-crumpled the paper and read it:

I hope you don’t come by again, you have a girlfriend why would you do that to me?! You’re loser :P

 –Priya

So her name’s Priya… But damn, why is she so worked up over a bit of skin ship? We didn’t even kiss or anything, weird girl. And she also told me to not come by again? Hmph, we’ll see.

*Author’s POV*

That night, Priya could hardly sleep. She was still flustered over Jack and couldn’t control her embarrassment. Meanwhile, Jack slept peacefully after a long night of partying with girls.

A few days later, Priya went to school and came home as usual. She walked home with her best friend, Kelly and told her all about what happened with Jack the other day.

“He did what?! Oh my goodness, Priya. Maybe he likes you! What was his name? But most importantly, was he hot?” Kelly exclaimed excitedly.

“Well….he told me his name was Jack.” Priya replied apprehensively, she wanted to avoid Kelly’s second question as much as possible.

“Priya. Answer me. Was. He. Hot.” Kelly asked again.

Priya turned another bright shade of red. “Um…uh…he was uh….kinda cute….” Priya mumbled quietly.

“Kyaaa!! So you do like him, don’t you?! You guys should totally go out!” Kelly shrieked

“Quiet down, Kelly! And besides, I heard him on the phone with someone who sounded like his girlfriend and yet he still did that to me. He’s just a good for nothing player.” Priya averted her eyes away from Kelly and sounded somewhat disappointed.

“Hey, why don’t we just go to the mall to get your mind off him? We’re right in front of your house anyway. Just tell your brother to cover your shift at the corn shack for today.” Kelly suggested.

“Yeah, sure. Give me five minutes.” Priya agreed, making her way to her front door.

*Jack’s POV*

I finally arrived at Priya’s corn shack. I wanted to pay her a nice and interesting visit since she told me not to. Her reactions to stuff like this are hilarious, but I have no intention of dating her. She’s not even close to my type. There’s no way I could like a plain girl like her, just no way.  I suddenly saw her walking towards her corn shack with someone who looked as though to be her brother. She talked to him and waved goodbye to take off with some girl; probably a friend or something. After the two of them left, I proceeded towards the corn shack and started talking to the guy who I think is her brother,

“Hey you, are you that chick’s brother?” I asked pointing towards Priya.

“Yeah, what’s it to you?” he answered suspiciously.

“I’m a friend of her’s, where’s she going?” I asked.

“She said something about going to the mall with Kelly.” He replied nonchalantly.

I swiftly walked away without another word and grabbed my phone to dial Jeremy, one of the best smooth talkers I know. I can’t irritate corn chick enough if she has someone with her. Gotta keep that little friend of her’s occupied, don’t I? I smirked at myself.
