Addison POV

I slowly get out of bed as I hear my phone ringing. I groan and reach for it to see that Bryce was trying to call me. I answer.
"Hey baby" he says that sort of makes me cringe.
"Hi Bryce" I say sitting up and rubbing my eye.
"Oh shit did I wake you?" I yawn.
"Don't worry about it, what's up?" I hear him sigh.
"I don't know I'm just so nervous for this dance tonight" I smile. It's cute that he gets nervous- wait THE DANCE IS TONIGHT!

"You forgot didn't you?" He ask chuckling.
"Yeah shit" I say throwing the covers off of me and walking to my closet.
"I'm sure you will still look beautiful even if you wear the worst outfit ever" I smile.
"Thanks Bryce but I think I should find a dress"
"No problem baby I'll see you tonight"
"I'll see you tonight" I end the call and toss my phone on my bed. Great now I need to find a dress and quickly.

Dixie POV

I walk down the halls sadly as I approach the art room and walk in. Taylor was busy drawing and planning as I walk over to her and look over her shoulder.
"Damn that's really good" I say picking up one of the cards.
"Jeez Dixie give me some warning!" Taylor says and I giggle. I mutter a sorry and look down at the card.
"You have been invited to Adora's and Dylan's wedding" I raise my eyebrow and look at her. She grabs the card from my hands and puts it back down.

"Who are those people?" She sighs.
"It's my sister and her future husband, there getting married in two weeks" I nod my head.
"I didn't know you had a sister?" She laughs.
"Yeah well I have two and an older brother" I smile.
"What are there names?"
"Jayden, Sophie and Adora" I think for a moment before giggling.
"Wait you're sister Adora, like the Adora from-"
"She-Ra and the princesses of power, yes" I laugh hard and she just shakes her head.

"Don't ask" she says and I grin.
"Wouldn't it be weird if you're sister was gay and ended up marrying a girl named Catra?" She laughs.
"Yeah it would but I'm afraid I'm the only gay one in the family" I nod my head.
"I'm not the only gay one in my family, my sister likes girls and boys" she laughs before properly looking at me.
"Are you okay?" I sigh.

"No but I'm getting there" she nods her head.
"That's good as long as you're focusing on yourself you will be okay" I nod my head.
"Still hurts"
"I know" I tuck a piece of hair behind my ear.
"Are you coming to the dance tonight?" She asks and I shake my head.
"I don't have a date" she huffs.
"Well you don't need one just come to this dance" I roll my eyes.

"Dances aren't really my thing"
"Well we have that in common but if I'm going, your definitely going" I laugh but nod my head.
"Yes Ma'am" she rolls her eyes.
"Go to class and bother someone else" I laugh but nod my head.
"Sure thing Taylor" I say walking away.
"Bye see you later"
"I really hope you don't"
"Aww I miss you already too" I say sticking my tongue out at her and walking out.

I head down the hallway and bump into someone.
"Oof sorry!" I say and the girl looks at me. She had the most beautiful Hazel eyes with short brown wavy hair that really did suit her. She gave me a warm inviting smile.
"No problem" she say cheerfully.
"You're part of the basketball team right?" She smiles.
"Yeah" she says and I smile back.
"I was wondering if you have a spot for me to join?" Her smile grows.

"We do actually, when do you want to try out?" I shrug my shoulders.
"As soon as possible" she smiles.
"Okay cool, I'm Zoey" I smile
"Dixie" she looks down.
"I know you're the girl that beat up Griffin, that's kinda badass" I smile as she looks back up.
"Thanks Zoey" she grins at me before walking away. I bite my bottom lip and rush after her.
"Zoey wait up!" She turns back around.
"Yes?"
"Do you maybe want to go to the dance with me tonight" she smiles.
