Field trip (part one)

Addison POV

I was sitting in the bus with Avani when I hear Dixie and that girl who I found out was named Zoey. I sigh and continue to watch them. Dixie and her were play fighting and I couldn't help but smile. Even after everything and how sad I was it still made me happy to see Dixie happy.
"STOP MOVING!" Dixie shouts.
"I HAVE ADHD!" Dixie and her start laughing.
"You okay?" Avani asks and I nod my head.

I lean my head against her shoulder and close my eyes.
"She looks happy" I whisper to her as Avani leans her head against mine.
"Yeah she does" I close my eyes and decide to just sleep until we get there.

"Addy get up we're here!" I feel Avani shove me and I groan and open my eyes. We both get up and grab our backpacks before walking out the bus. I look to the side and see Dixie helping people get there suitcases out.
"I think our suitcases are on the other side come on" I nod my head and we walk around the bus and grab our suitcases. We head towards the rest of our grade. The guidance counsellor were all smiling at us.

"Welcome to camp ROUGHWOOD!" They all shout and we all clap.
"Everyone will be put into teams but first you are aloud to chose who are your roomates so quickly find your group!"
"Only four per room!"  Everyone falls into conversations as we head to our normal group which was all the girls which was Piper and Megan. They smile big at us and Megan pulls me into a hug.
"How are you holding up?" She asks me and I shrug my shoulders.

"I'm okay" she smiles.
"If you need to talk you can always come to me, or any of us for that matter" I smile.
"Okay everyone now that you all have your groups let's take you to your rooms" the boys go one way and us girls go the other way. I see Dixie and her new friends are in the front laughing away. Dixie wrapped her arm around Zoey's neck and I frown. I wonder if there dating?

The counsellor talks to Dixie and points at a room. I see Dixie nod her head and walks away with her three friends following her.
"Stop watching her the whole time" I hear Avani whispers to me.
"I'm not!" I say crossing my arms and looking away from Dixie.
"Sure" Avani says giggling. The counsellor comes to us smiling.
"Are you guys a group?" She asks and I nod my head.

"Okay cool you guys can take that room" she points to room number 5 and I take the keys from her.
"You guys have to come to the huge dinning room at 5:00 so we can talk to you guys but in the mean time have fun settling in" we all nod our heads and we all walk to the room. I unlock it and walk in. The room was quite big with four seperate beds and one big bathroom.

"Damn this place is nice" Megan says and I nod my head. I chose the bed to my right by the window and put my backpack on it. Piper and Megan race each other for the beds and I smile. I put my suitcase by the window and lay down on the bed. Avani lays down on her bed next to mine and I look over at her. She smiles and closes her eyes. I look up at the ceiling and sigh loudly.

"So guys welcome again for joining us at camp Roughwood and we do hope you're stay is filled with adventure and fun!" The manager of roughwood says.
"Tonight will be board games and simple games before dinner at 6:00!" Everyone walks to a table and starts playing board games. We head to the one table and start playing monopoly. It was actually really fun especially cause Avani gets so competitive.

We all pack the game away and of course Megan and piper won. Avani was kinda mad but eased up when Piper tackled her in a bear hug. We head to go get food which was pasta today and the food was actually really good surprisingly since camp food can be really bad. After dinner we all headed back to our rooms but I felt a ball hit my back. I turn around and see it was Basketball. I pick it up and look around to see Dixie running towards me. She stops when she sees me holding the ball.
