I can't lose you

Dixie POV

I couldn't sleep very well last night mainly cause I was still worrying about Taylor and I hadn't heard anything from Addison. I'm in need of cuddles. I reach for my phone and type away.

Dixie: Hey Addy could you maybe come over I really need you.

I wait for a moment before I see her typing.

Addison: no, I think we should break up.

I roll my eyes of course Addy is in a playing mood today.

Dixie: very funny Addison, so can you come over?
Addison: I'm being serious we should break up.

I frown, no way Addison would just suddenly want to break up with me. Something's off.

Dixie: and why should be break up?
Addison: I don't love you anymore.

Now that was definitely not Addison but a little bit inside me was worried. I get out of bed. I'm going over to Addisons house to talk to her. I throw on some clothes and go outside. My mom kinda let me off the hook on being grounded since the whole Taylor thing. I get in my car and drive away. I stop about three houses away from Addisons house.

I get out my car and rush over to her house and sneak around the back. I see Addisons window was open and begin to climb her house which was extremely easy and dangerous but I didn't care. I make it to her window and look inside. Addison was sitting on her bed with her back facing me.

"Addison" I say and she jumps and turns around. Damn she looked like a mess still beautiful though, I wonder if she's okay.
"Dixie what the hell are you doing here?!" I smile and climb into her room.
"I had to see you" she gives me a small smile before getting up and locking her bedroom door. Before I could do anything else Addison ran to me and wrapped her arms around me and began to cry. I was shocked but I hugged her back pulling her as close as possible.

"What's wrong baby?" I say hoping that she wasn't breaking up with me.
"My parents found out about us" I freeze and bite the inside of my cheek. We pull apart and sit down on her bed. I take her hands in mine to comfort her. I stare down at her hands and run my thumbs over her knuckles.
"Do you want to talk about it?" I ask looking back at her face. She nodded slightly.

"After the dance competition I got grounded and my phone was taken away by my mom. It turns out they knew my password and looked at all our messages" I frown and clench my jaw.
"Wait your phone was taken away?" I say and she nods her head.
"Did I forget to tell you about that?" She asks and I nod my head.

"Sorry Dixie I really did just forget" I bite my bottom lip. I let go one of her hands and dig for my phone. I open my phone and look back at her.
"What?" She says and I sigh before handing her my phone. She takes it and reads the messages that weren't from her. She looked mad.
"Dixie this was my moms doing, you know I love you to much to ever break up with you. How heartless is my mom?!" She said and put my phone down on the bed.

"I know Addison I figured that it wasn't you but I wanted to come to make sure" I say looking down. she lets go of my other hand and cupped my face with her hands.
"Look at me Dixie" I slowly look up at her.
"I love you so much okay, I don't want to lose you and I would never do anything to hurt you" she says as the tears fall from her eyes. She leans her forehead against mine.

"You're too special to me Dixie, please I can't lose you" she says choking back a sob. I hold her waist and pull her a little closer to me.
"Addison you will never lose me okay even if they put up a brick wall I'll find a way over it. I love you Addy" I move my hands and hold her wrists as her hands were still on my face.
"It was so bad Dixie, my mom freaked out and told me that I'd never see you again" I close my eyes.
