Bethany

While at the airport, dad orders a taxi to take us to a hotel because the house isn't ready, moving here was quite rushed.

We're going to be staying at the MOXY NYC Times Square hotel for the next three days at least I can relax while I'm there.

We got there around 8 pm, I was really tired, I just wanted to shower and head to bed.

"Hey, hey, wake up beth" Tony says mischievously.

"What's your deal? It's really late and I'm trying to sleep here" putting my sleeping mask back on.

"Oh come on, don't you want to see this place at night? also, there's a really cool bar I want to go to" his eyes pleading.

"Don't you think I'm a little young to drink? You're 20 it's fine but I'm not, besides I don't want to get in trouble with mother."

"Fine but I'm leaving" he concedes, walking towards the room door."

"Ok fine you win just give me five minutes I'm meet you down the hall."

I put on a pair of Jeans and a blazer with flats and head out.

We walked around for a while, looking at the lights, cars, and people. I was astounded by the buzz of people here and there. No wonder they call New York City the town that never sleeps.
I've read about New York but this is far from what I knew, I'm actually happy I took Tony up on his offer. We even looked at the city from the Empire state building it was so remarkable I couldn't help gasping.
It had truly been an amazing night but Tony insisted we check out a bar before we head back. So we went to The Long Island Bar, it was quite impressive and had such authentic decor, you just had to love the vibe.

Tony chose to get have some drinks while I ate a burger. Before long he was drunk, I was so upset I didn't even know what to do. I didn't have any money on me and I didn't know the pin to his credit card. I felt so stuck. That's when my angel appeared; tall, amber-skinned, deep storm blue eyes that haunt me in my dreams.

"Hey", he said,

"Hi..." I thought I was going to pass out.
"what are you doing here?" I inquired

" It's a nice bar, I think anyone can be here" looking at my shoulders, he was sporting a beige-Italian suit and I had been supporting Tony the entire time.

"Who's the dude?" he asked.

"My brother...well I've got to be on my way now."

"Why don't I drop you guys off? I just want to help please" he says placing his hands in his hair.
"Ok thanks" I nod helping Tony stand up.

He helps Tony to the back and I sit at the front with him.
"Just drop us off at the MOXY NYC Times Square hotel.

"Hey, you've still not told me your name" I implored.

He grinned and looked at me for some seconds "It's Chris, Chris Nolan"

"Alright, thanks for helping me out Chris".

We got back to the hotel at about 3 am, I said goodnight to Chris and tucked Tony in bed before getting some sleep myself.

I woke up to the not so reasonable knocking of my mom against the room door "Get dressed hun it's time for breakfast."

"I'll be down in a minute mom" I respond jumping out of bed. I'm still very exhausted from last night's trip and I'm so going to deal with Tony.

I decided to wear winter white, and white pants paired beautifully with my black boots and dark denim and headed to the dining hall. I spotted my family in no time and took a seat. Breakfast was nice, I especially loved the warm croissants. We all went shopping later in the day, my hands were so weak from carrying all the bags and Amy of course had to go overboard.

I saw some really cool paintings, I love drawing and painting a lot as well as photography I'm actually really good, so we bought a few of those too.

On our way back I started feeling severe pain in my stomach, the ulcer pain was unbearable.
I have known about it since I was 12 years old and it's never been merciful. I had to take several medications at times to suppress it when it comes. We went to the hospital and I noticed mum had to see the doctor too what could possibly be wrong with her?

I want to apologize for the delay in releasing this chapter, I've been really busy lately but I'll try to be consistent.
What do you think is wrong with Betty's mum?
