A/N: I decided to try something a little different today
"Shut it, Dunce Face!" Bakugou yelled. Kaminari was rambling. Again. It was seriously pissing him off. He wouldn't shut up about his so-called "date" with eye bags. It sounded stupid.
"W-well," Pikachu was stuttering again, and Katsuki couldn't help but roll his eyes, "What if it had been you on a date with K--" He immediatly stopped and looked at Bakugou with a terrified expression as he was eyed down. That damn idiot better not finish that sentence or he would never see the light of day again. Bakugou'd swear on that. "--with your... crush," Kaminari correct, his face twisted like it was silently pleading for Bakugou not to beat his ass for his slip up. Dunce Face was lucky the ash-blond cared for him, though he'd never, ever admit it out loud.
"At least I wouldn't be so pathetic about it," Bakugou sneered, knowing deep down if he ever had the courage to confess to Kirishima that he'd most likely be just as excited and nervous as Denki was. Again, nothing he'd ever admit, though. Pinky spoke up as Kirishima moved behind the counter, already making Bakugou his coffee, knowing exactly what he likes. Bakugou would have smiled at him-- or even thanked him-- if he were nicer. But he wasn't. So he just grumbled and took a seat next to Mina.
"We all know that ain't true, hun," she teased. How dare she insult him like that? She might be right but he didn't need these extras knowing that!
"Wanna try again?" he asked, palms sparking. Pinky backed up but still wore that smug expression, knowing she was right. And what was more, Bakugou didn't exactly deny it, either. He mentally cursed himself for that, but it'd be too suspicious to say anything now.
"Kiri? Little help?" She turned to her dumb-haired coworker, smug look fading. Good.
"Hey, you poked the bear." He shrugged, turning back to finishing Bakugou's coffee. Mina pouted and sat down, a sign of surrender in Bakugou's eyes. He settled down, a little upset that he wasn't able to fight her, though he didn't necessarily feel like being burned by acid right now.
Kiri finished making Katsuki his drink and handed it to him. The blond mumbled a quiet, "Thanks or whatever," though he was pretty sure Kirishima couldn't understand him. That was probably for the better. That bright smile he was giving him could make him mess up with his words. He hated that he had that kind of power over him, and he didn't need the redhead knowing that.
"So, Kami," Eijirou had turned to Sparky now, "Did Shinsou kiss ya?" Bakugou had to admit that the blond's reaction to that was pretty funny. He cracked a half-smile at the way he was waving his hands out in front of him, trying to sputter out an excuse.
"N-no! Of course he didn't! I've known him for, what, two days? That'd be crazy!" He was rambling now. "Though I wouldn't mind if he did. I bet his lips are soft. Oh, crap! You guys can't tell him I said that! I know Bakugou's seeing him later. Don't say anything! Tell him I was really cool and collected about it. But, like, not in a mean way! Like, I was just not nervous--" That was enough from Denki for one afternoon, Bakugou had decided, before sending a small explosion at him. He let out a loud "Eep!" and ducked back behind the counter, causing the explosion to hit the pasty in front of Mina instead, burning it to a crisp.
"Bakugou!" she scolded. She tended to do a lot of that with this bunch of idiots. "No quirks in the cafe! Kiri and I were almost fired last time you exploded a couch cushion!" Bakugou still had no regrets about that. Mina had been on his nerves and totally deserved that one. Kirishima, not so much. He just happened to also get in trouble. Bakugou had actually apologized for that one.
"Whatever," Bakugou grunted, taking a sip of the hot coffee in front of him. It was always best when Eijirou made it. Not that he'd say that out loud. His friends would surely tease him for that being "pretty gay, dude," as Kaminari had put it last time he voiced his thoughts on the redheaded man. He had to leave work early from the burn he got for that.
Denki emerged from behind the counter when he knew it was safe. "I don't think Shinsou would actually want to kiss me, though." Bakugou couldn't believe he actually felt a small pang of sympathy for the sad look on his face. He grimaced at his own feelings.
"You're an idiot." The three turned their direction to the angry man.
"We been knew, dude. You gotta elaborate." Bakugou rolled his eyes but complied.
"I mean you're an absolute idiot if you think he wouldn't like you enough to..." He couldn't bring himself to finish his sentence but continued on. "Eye bags wouldn't shut up about you at practice. You're both stupid if you can't realize what actually's going on. So shut up and actually deal with this shit before I have to force you two to talk to each other." Bakugou hated the looks of shock he always got whenever he pointed out the obvious. They really are all morons.
"Bakubro..." Kaminari was the first to speak, wiping away an imaginary tear. "That was beautiful." Katsuki huffed.
"Bro, you really do have a point, though," Kirishima pointed out.
"Of course I have a point, shitty hair! You extras just fail to see that." It's not like he wasn't an actual person. He could help and have feelings, too!
"He's right, Kami." Mina turned to Dunce Face. "Just talk to him. I'm sure he's just as troubled as you are if Bakugou's right." As much as he didn't want to accept it, Bakugou didn't want his friend to be upset by all of this. And he knew that if Shinsou hurt Kaminari, or if Kaminari hurt Shinsou, he wouldn't hesitate to kill someone. No one messed with his friends, not even his other friends, and got away with it. That he could promise.
As if he could read his mind, Kirishima chimed in, "And if he tries anything, we will beat him up for you, 'kay?" He hardened his first, punching his other hand. Kaminari smiled.
"Thanks, guys. You're all the best! Even Bakugou." Bakugou scoffed.
"Damn right I'm the best." The three laughed at that. Mina initiated a group hug, and, though he tried to get out of it, she managed to drag Katsuki into it too. He hissed, almost like a cat, but stopped struggling after a moment. He really did have the best friends.

"You're late," Bekugou said, looking up from his drumset as he watched his two purple-haired band members enter his room, where they hosted most of their practices. Earlobes rolled her eyes but nodded, opening her case and grabbing her bass, starting to tune it. Shinsou didn't even acknowledge him as he walked in, staring at his phone. He was smiling, an odd sight for him. He almost never smiled, especially not around Bakugou.
"Oi! Eye Bags! Get ready for practice, dumbass." Shinsou gave him his usual bland expression, smile long gone by now, but did as the blond said nonetheless. "And what the hell were you smiling at?" he asked, hoping not to come off as too interested. He didn't need the insomniac, of all people, thinking he actually cared.
"He was being messaged by his boyfriend," Jirou answered for him. Eye Bags sighed.
"He's not my boyfriend. We just--"
"--went on a date, I know," both Bakugou and Jirou said, finishing his sentence at the same time. They just looked at each other after.
Shinsou stared at them. "You guys seriously need to stop doing that. It's creepy."
"Tch. And those dead-looking eyes aren't?" Bakugou retorted. Shinsou couldn't argue with that one and instead finished tuning his guitar.
"Uh," Shinsou started, looking a little nervous. Not that Bakugou cared. "What's Denki's quirk? I just realized I was never told." Bakugou gave him an inquisitive look.
"Why the hell do you wanna know?" Shinsou rubbed his neck.
"I was just curious. I had a song idea." Thank god. It'd been a while since Shinsou actually wrote them a song. He had writer's block, apparently, all last month. Probably just an excuse to get more sleep. It was obvious Shinsou seriously needed more.
"Fine. He's got some damn electricity quirk. Don't make him use it too much, though. Pikachu goes stupid, more so than usual." Shinsou nodded thoughtfully.
"Perfect. Jirou, can you set up the keyboard? I think you guys are gonna like this one."
A/N: Not gonna lie, writing from Bakugou's pov was a little tricky. But I'll be back with your usual Shinkami next!
