A/N: My hands kept instinctively wanting to type Shinsou instead of Kirishima and it made me sad :((
Despite the fact that Kirishima was somewhat able to cheer Kaminari up, it didn't last for long. And, Denki didn't know it yet, but Eijirou was planning something to attempt to lift his mood once more. Of course, first, there was the challenge of actually getting Denki up and motivated.
"Come on, Denki!" he tried as he pulled on the blond's foot from under his blankets, sliding him slowly down the bed towards the bottom. His friend wiggled and struggled, making cries of protest, but Kirishima wasn't about to let him spend another day in bed.
That was all he'd done the entirety of the previous day after he'd slept over. Eijirou, being the amazing friend that he was, let him, and went to the gym when he grew tired of Kaminari's moping and complaining about Shinsou, who he, surprisingly, had seen there. Honestly, Kirishima just hoped the two could make up soon, this was obviously having quite a toll on them both.
Then, Denki spent the night again, and that was where Eijirou was drawing the line.
"You can't just live in my house now!" he told him as he successfully managed to drag his friend out of the bed. He landed with a soft thump on the floor. "Get up! We're going out." Kaminari just grabbed a pillow from the bed and shoved his face into it, groaning.
"I don't want to 'go out'," he bemoaned. Though Denki's behavior was starting to grow quite annoying, Kirishima just chuckled, hovering over his friend spread across the floor.
"We're going to the mall," he told him, and he could see the blond immediately perk up at that. Kirishima stifled his laughs, saying, "I can try to get Katsuki to come, too." Well, that was it. Kaminari was out of the bed and on his feet in an instant.
"You can?" he asked, his mood immediately shifting. The redhead actually laughed that time. It was always funny how frequent and easily Denki's mood could completely turn around. Well, most of the time it was funny.
"I'll try." Kirishima wasn't so sure if he'd be able to get Bakugou to agree to come, but if anyone could do it, he knew it was him, at least.
Denki snorted, saying, "Yeah, right. He won't say no to you." He was probably right about that. Kirishima grinned and pulled out his phone, texting Katsuki.
"We're going to the mall today to cheer up Kami. Wanna come?" he typed before sending it off, hoping for a reply soon. Kirishima then texted Mina the same thing. He knew Kaminari would need as much support as he could get.
Of course, he'd learned what happened with Sero, so they obviously wouldn't be inviting him. Besides, someone had to run the cafe today. He just hoped Mina would be able to get out of her shift so she could be there for her friend.
While they were waiting for the two to reply, Kirishima forced Denki to get ready, since he wasn't looking his greatest. He was even starting to grow eyebags that could rival his ex-boyfriend's. He heated up some leftover soba for them to eat for lunch while Kaminari changed his clothes and freshened up.
"Kiri?" Denki called as he left the bathroom, grabbing his friend's attention. "Do you have any nail polish?" Kirishima fully turned around to face Denki, a quizzical yet amused expression plastered across his face.
"Why do you ask?" Honestly, Eijirou shouldn't have been so surprised that the blond painted his nails. It totally seemed like something he would do, given how he dressed sometimes.
Denki seemed a little sheepish as he answered, "Do you, or not? The black I had the other day chipped off." Kirishima snorted but nodded.
"Yeah. Don't have many colors, though," he said before he explained to Denki where the polish was.
