Maybe Shinsou went a little overboard. Maybe that was pretty cruel of him to do to Denki. But it's not like he didn't deserve it! Shinsou was just so caught up in the moment and so angry that the blond made such a scene like that. And Hitoshi couldn't just stand there and do nothing! He had to do something about it!
His band members didn't quite see eye to eye with him, though.
"What the hell, Eyebags?" Bakugou growled as soon as they were off the stage. He, apparently, was not impressed.
"He kissed me!" Hitoshi retorted. Yeah, he knew it really wasn't any excuse, but he didn't really have much more of an argument for this. "What was I supposed to do?"
"Not that!" Jirou chimed in, throwing her hands up. "I get you're mad at him, or whatever, but that was a bit uncalled for, Shin." Okay, maybe it was, but Kaminari still deserved it. Jirou rolled her eyes when he voiced that thought, and Bakugou scoffed.
"Idiot," the angry blond man muttered. Shinsou was no idiot, but he knew better to get angry or take offense to the uttered insult. He instead just shrugged, as if to show them that he didn't really care what they thought. In his opinion, what he did was at least somewhat justified. If they failed to see that, it wasn't his problem.
Jirou didn't seem quite as eager as him to let it go, though. She placed a hand on his shoulder and he looked at her, quirking an eyebrow. "You shouldn't have done that," she said more solemnly. "I thought you were going to forgive him, anyway."
"I was," Hitoshi snapped, pulling away from her. "But now I don't know."
Bakugou grumbled something under his breath before glaring at Shinsou. "He's obviously desperate because you keep toying with his emotions, dumbass." Hitoshi was going to argue back when Katsuki raised up a hand in front of his face to silence him. "Just make up your damn mind already. It'll just hurt you both if you draw this out." Bakugou was probably right. But Shinsou just didn't know anymore. He didn't know what to do. He felt completely and utterly lost.
Hitoshi pulled his hands up to his face, groaning into them. "I'm sorry, okay?"
Neither Jirou nor Bakugou seemed satisfied with his insincere apology.
"How about you try that again, to Denki?" Kyoka scolded. God, Shinsou wanted nothing more than to just run away and go curl up in his bed. Why was he having this conversation again? It was unnecessary. What's done is done. At least, that's how Shinsou saw it.
"That would be pointless," he deadpanned, earning a glare from both his bandmates. "He probably wouldn't even want to talk to me."
"Go!" Jirou practically yelled again. "Go apologize to him! You saw him run out that door. If you're lucky, he's still here. So, go fix this." Shinsou still thought this was useless, but he caved at his friend's slightly intimidating scowl.
"Fine," he said before turning away from them. He breathed a sigh of relief to finally be away from those two. He loved them, they were his best friends, but they could be way too much at times.
Shinsou carded his hands through his hair as he walked out the door, preparing himself to talk to Kaminari. Maybe he wouldn't apologize, he wasn't really sorry, but he did feel a little bad about doing that. Denki did have it coming for him, though. What was he thinking, doing that? It was very uncalled for. Though, in retrospect, it did mean that Denki would still want Shinsou back. Or, did. He probably wouldn't after Hitoshi publically humiliated him.
Pushing his thoughts aside, Shinsou exited the bar, stepping into the crisp, cool night air. He glanced around, searching the perimeter of the building.
