Chapter 15: End Of The Year Speeches! Part 1!

*Time Skip To Second To Last Day Of The School Year.*

Sonic POV:

I sighed as I walked into the auditorium along with the rest of the group. Today was going to be a long day.

I sat down on the outside of one of the seat rows and Jet sat down next to me. We kept on going back and forth the whole time making jokes about the students going up and saying their speeches.

We burst out laughing at one of Jet's jokes and then Amy shot us a glare.

"You two need to quiet down! You're not funny. Wait your turn and then make your rude jokes." Shadow whispered harshly at us. He was sitting behind me and I turned around and just glared at him.

"Don't you glare at me!"

"No fighting!" Tails shouted at us from the other end of the row. He was playing rock paper scissors with Vector.

In the middle of the row, Rouge and Knuckles were arguing very loudly and a fight almost broke out. Luckily, Silver held Knuckles back and Amy held Rouge back and they scolded them.

Finally, our quarter of the room was up. 

"And finally, the final quarter. Amy Rose?" The principal called out to Ames.

She got up from her seat and walked down the aisle and up the stairs leading onto the stage. She grabbed the microphone and smiled at the crowd as she began to speak.

"Hello everyone! Let me tell you it has been an amazing year for me, in fact one of the best years! I'd like to thank my best friend Cream, who is like a little sister to me, Tails, who is always there to help everyone out, and my crush Sonic, who I loved to spend a lot of time with! You three have really helped make this year the best year it can be! Oh, and I'd like to thank Rouge for being herself and I'd like to thank Scourge for listening to my gossip everyday and appreciating it when no one else would! Thank you for listening, and have a good summer everyone!" Amy stated as she walked off of the stage and sat back down.

Me and Jet were clapping mad hard, and we screamed "WOO!" at the top of our lungs. Everyone just looked at us like we lost our minds.

Rouge POV:

Next up was Blaze. She got up from her seat and walked up onto the stage. She took the microphone.

"Greetings, fellow students. I'd like to use this speech-time I have been given to really thank all of you. For years now before coming to this school, I've moved around schools constantly looking for somewhere I could fit in. I didn't belong anywhere, until I came here. Now, I truly feel like I belong. The group I have joined is absolutely amazing and I could never thank them enough. I'd like to thank Amy and Cream, for being really caring and kind friends to me, I'd like to thank Sonic and Silver for always being able to make me laugh, and I'd also like to thank Rouge for being welcoming to me and looking out for me." Blaze said.

I smirked, good thing my friends appreciated me.

"I would also like to thank Shadow for being the greatest friend I could ever ask for."

I knew that was coming. I looked behind me and to the right to see Shadow smirking. He was actually very welcoming and not so rude to the new girl. Shadow does have a good side to him that he doesn't show so often, he's usually rude.

Blaze walked off of the stage as Sonic and Jet clapped obnoxiously and shouted again. It's official, those two have lost their minds. Next up was... Charmy.

Charmy ran up to the stage and began speaking immediately.

"Hey everyone! You're all awesome! This year's been a blast! I'd like to thank Vector for always being there with me and I'd like to thank Espio for always keeping us in check! I'd also like to thank all of my other friends for making this year the best year for me!" Charmy shouted. He then ran back off the stage and sat down.

Nice, that bee cut it short. That was nice of him to help save some of my valuable time. Cream was up next.

Amy POV: 

"You can do it, Cream!" I shouted up to my friend as she walked on stage. Sonic and Jet were still clapping and shouting for Charmy. Those two would not shut up.

"Hello! Thank you so much for letting me make a speech everyone! This year has been absolutely amazing! I'd like to thank my best friend Amy for always being there for me and being like a big sister to me, I'd like to thank Mr. Sonic, Mr. Tails, and Mr. Knuckles for always looking out for me, and I'd like to thank all of my other friends for being so supportive and nice to me!" Cream announced.

Sonic and Jet clapped and shouted for her like they were crazy and I have to admit, I did too. That speech was wonderful!

Espio went up onto the stage next. 

"It's been a good year for the most part. I want to thank Vector and Charmy for being the best friends I could ask for, Sonic Tails and Knuckles for being awesome and close friends especially Knuckles, and everyone else in our group for being cool. Especially myself." Espio said. He then walked off the stage.

I rolled my eyes. He is so full of himself sometimes...

Jet POV:

It's my turn now! Once me and Sonic were done clapping and screaming for Espio, I walked up.

"WOO! GO JET!" Sonic shouted from his seat as I walked onto the stage. I could tell that almost everyone in the group wanted to punch him in the face right now.

"Hey everyone! I'd like to thank Sonic for being an awesome and fun guy to talk to, Storm for being a loyal best friend, and am I forgetting anyone?" I asked out loud. Almost everyone burst out laughing at my joke.

"Am I that easy to forget?" I hear Wave shout from the crowd.

"Haha, I'm kidding. I'd like to thank Wave for also being one of the best friends I've ever had. The rest of you don't get shout outs. Done!" I announced as I walked off of the stage.

Half of the crowd was dead silent, the other half was laughing so hard. Sonic was shouting and clapping like crazy, trying not to laugh.

Next up is Knuckles.

Tails POV:

"WOO! GO KNUCKLEHEAD!" Sonic shouted and I sighed.

"Sonic, if you say one more word then I'm going to punch you when I come back from my speech." I told my best friend. He was driving me crazy!

"I doubt it!" Sonic responded to me.

Fine... He asked for it.

"I'd like to thank Sonic for being an awesome bro to me, same with Tails Espio Charmy and Vector, and the rest of you are cool too I guess. Nice year, can't wait to get out of here. Bye." Knuckles stated as he walked off of the stage as quickly as he went up.

"Wow... That was priceless." I whispered to myself.

"You said it!" Vector said as he looked at me. He was sitting right next to me so it's no wonder he heard what I said.
