Chapter 18: End Of The Year Party! Part 2!

Mephiles POV:

We all just stared at Silver.

"What?" He asked all of us.

"How about we just DON'T talk about anything that has to do with love?" Sonic proposed. 

"Agreed." Wave nodded.

"Aw, why not?" Both Amy and Scourge said at the same time. Those two were crazy.

"What are we going to do now?" I asked everyone.

"Not gonna lie, I'm kind of in the mood for a pillow fight or dodge-ball!" Tails answered me.

"YEAH! Dodge-ball!" Sonic agreed.

"We are DEFINITELY not playing dodge-ball! But I guess we could have a pillow fight!" Amy told them.

"Teams or everyone for themselves?" Jet asked.

"Let's do teams. Mephiles and I will be the captains." Shadow announced.

"Alright! Mephiles goes first!" Knuckles stated.

"I'll take Blaze." I said. Everyone just stared at me, surprised. Blaze walked over to me.

Silver POV:

"My turn. Silver!" Shadow shouted.

"Oh no..." I heard Tails whisper as I walked over to Shadow.

"Rouge!" Mephiles went next.

"Knuckles!" Shadow retaliated.

"I want to be on the same team as Knuckie though!" Rouge complained.

"Thank goodness you chose me." Knuckles said to Shadow.

"Sonic!" Mephiles picked.

"Tails!" Shadow stated.

"No!" Sonic and Tails both walked over to their respective captains. 

"Amy..." Mephiles chose carefully.

"Scourge." Shadow said without even needing to think about it.

They went back and forth until everyone had a team. We were mostly divided from our closest friends.

"3... 2... 1... Start!" I began the pillow fight.

Sonic and Tails immediately charged at each other and threw pillows. Rouge charged with a pillow at Knuckles and they went back and forth also.

I felt a pillow hit the back of my head. I turned around and looked at Mephiles.

"I've been waiting a long time to do this."

I threw as many pillows as I could at him but he charged at me and avoided all of my attacks. I felt another pillow hit me from behind and I looked to see Vector and Charmy. They were going to gang up on me!

Espio ran over to his friends and tackled Charmy to the ground. I saw Shadow tackling Blaze and Sally and Cream going lightly back and forth throwing pillows at each other.

Storm ran up to Vector and bombarded him with pillows. Jet was on the ground and Wave was relentlessly throwing pillows at him. 

Amy and Scourge were probably fighting the hardest, it looked like they were about to break out into a real fight any second. I got up and tried to run over to Scourge to help him out but Mephiles tackled me.

"Hey! Get off!"

"Make me."

I elbowed him in the gut and ran off.
