IT HAS ONLY BEEN AN HOUR SINCE THE INCIDENT AND YOU COULD ALREADY FEEL YOURSELF HAVE A PANIC ATTACK AS YOU WALK HOME. Hitoshi who had been by your side, holding your hand in his jacket pocket fiddled with your fingers as he gulped watching you breathe uneasily. "I don't want to go home, Hitoshi..." you stopped walking as you tried to catch your breath, the pace of your heart quickening as you think of what might await you at the Aizawa household. "A few months ago, I would have told you not to go home but... right now, I think... you need to. Listen, I know you're scared but—," Hitoshi was stopped by your abrupt gaze into his own, the nervousness getting to him as you locked your eyes with his. "You don't know what he's capable of. If he could expel those bullies when we were younger, how much more would he do just to keep me away from you?"

Hitoshi looked down on the pavement, a sigh escaping his lips. "Then, what do you want to do?" You thought about it for a moment before sharply inhaling, holding his hand tighter than earlier. "Would you be alright with it though?" Hitoshi squinted his eyes at the sudden grip on his hand and his expression started to change from curious to worry. "What?"

"I'm going to get myself drunk."

"(Your name)! No!" But before the lilac haired male could protest, you were already dragging him to a place you knew you could grab something to drink just so you could have the confidence to face your parents later.

THE LIVING ROOM WHERE SHOTA AND NAOMI WERE NOW SITTING IN WAS QUIET. It was the kind of silence that thickens the more someone doesn't speak or the more someone doesn't make a move. Naomi was looking at her knees, fidgeting her thumbs while Shota stared at his wife who was not making any eye contact with him whatsoever. Shota's anger had minimized but he still felt like he needed to do something to prevent you from falling even more. "So, it was true? There was something between them?"

"Shota, there's nothing between the two of them..." Naomi looked up and saw the sadness in Shota's eyes despite the angry demeanor he's showing. "But what's with the kiss then, Naomi? That can't be nothing!" His voice cracked as he spoke and tears started to fall in his eyes. "I don't want her to end up like me—like us." Shota sighed as he ran his hand over his face, wiping the tears that stained his cheeks. "Do you ever regret falling in love with me, Shota?" Naomi's tone was hurt and Shota shook his head, scrunching his features that it came out that way. "No, Naomi. I—I love you so much... I don't regret loving you."
