Asgawrath could feel his fury growing. So many things were going wrong with this plan.. so many things that it infuriated him to an impossible degree. Not only had the Gotei 13 failed to do what he had commanded them to.. But even Xaphan hadn't been able to kill the two unpredictable anomalies of Touma Kamijou and Natsu Dragneel.

They were overwhelmingly dire threats to his plans. Not only did they provide encouragement and support to Mikoto, preventing her from breaking as she should, but their powers, and the uniqueness of their survival was what made things more disturbing. Asgawrath knew there was more to Touma Kamijou's right hand then just the Imagine Breaker.. the power that could negate and repel any supernatural power. The right hand wasn't Imagine Breaker itself.. merely a vessel that had the ability to house other powers...

Then there was Natsu Dragneel. After that strange incident which allowed those three to escape Genryusai Yamamoto, Asgawrath finally knew why Natsu Dragneel had survived the destruction of the Multiverse.. he knew now, who was hiding inside that Salamander's soul... who was hiding inside... the one being in the entire Multiverse that had infuriated him and his equal Lucifer to no end... the one who could jump between Omegaverses... should that particular Numensapien manage to come out of Natsu Dragneel... he could wreak havoc on everything..

But even that wasn't what really set Asgawrath's rage on fire. It was that Kamijou boy.. pooling his affections with Mikoto Misaka... his Mikoto Misaka... How dare he.. how dare he..

Asgawrath had only fallen for 1 mortal other then Mikoto, and she had suffered a tragic fate.. he would not lose another love.. not to a puny mortal boy who held nothing for her.. that Kamijou didn't rule over legions.. he didn't possess power beyond reckoning.. and yet he held the interests of that beautiful girl.. no.. he would not stand for it...

Asgawrath sighed. It was time he dealt with this.. first and foremost, would be to kill Touma Kamijou now.. Natsu Dragneel could wait.. if Asgawrath could break Mikoto and have her submit before the Numensapien escaped from Dragneel's body, then none of that would matter, he would have the power to destroy all the Numensapiens that currently lay in their hibernative state.. and he would rule....all worlds would be encompassed in darkness.. and his Lance Maiden.. Mikoto Misaka would finally be the queen he deserved.. his love..

There was only one other snitch... Ulquiorra.. he could no longer see or feel Ulquiorra's presence...

Asgawrath shook his head. "It matters not... he can no longer stop any of this..." Asgawrath then started to stroke the Lance of Gungnir in his hand... the Lance's pulsating body convulsed.. as if Mikoto Misaka could feel his touch, and felt frightened and disgusted...

"No worries.. my Lance Maiden.. soon you shall learn to love me.." said Asgawrath. "After that filthy klutz who wields Imagine Breaker is destroyed!! Hmmm.. Doctor.. perhaps I will grant you a little more leeway.. Mayuri..."

Mikoto gulped as she gripped the steering wheel of the truck and under Touma's guidance she put her hand on the stick and shifted gears.

Natsu, who was in the back seat of the truck groaned from the motion of the old truck as Kon edged away from him.. not eager to be a barf bag.

"I-I've never done this before." Mikoto said with a quavery voice. "Wh-what if we crash?"

"We're not going to crash as long as you stay calm." said Touma. "And don't grip the steering wheel like that, you'll have better control of the vehicle if you touch is light..."
