My eyes slowly opened and they were met with the same grey brick ceiling. I heard the news going on the tv as I felt myself slowly wake up.
"If anyone has any leads into where Alexis Gray is, please contact us or her family immediately. They just want her home safe." I quickly sat up, there's my hope. They know I'm missing.
"Please Alexis, come home. We miss you so much. I hope you're safe, we just want you to return home safe to us." Another voice spoke on the tv, it was my mom. My dad stood next to her, letting her speak.
They looked as if they haven't slept in days. My mom is usually always dressed up and her hair is always done which is the complete opposite of what I'm seeing on the screen. Her hair was in a bun and she was wearing her glasses, she usually always has her contacts in, but her eyes looked bloodshot and red.
My dad usually always has his hair slicked back, but was being hidden by a baseball cap and same as my moms, his eyes were bloodshot and he was tearing up as my mom continued to talk.
"I'm right here mom, I'm right here." I said as my voice cracked and tears began to form. I placed my hand on the screen as a way to somehow feel her, but the only thing I could feel was the static from the screen.
"We will begin a search for Alexis tonight at 4 o'clock, anyone who would like to join can. The more people the more chances we have in finding her. I'm Rich Ward, thank you for watching Channel 8 News." He finished his speech and the screen went to a commercial.
I looked to the tv's with my apartment and noticed Nala was no longer in her cage and I immediately began to worry. I kept telling myself that someone came and got her because they knew I was gone and she needed someone to take care of her. As I kept looking from screen to screen I noticed something strange.
It was Ron, he was standing in the corner of my bathroom in a complete black outfit.
"What is he doing?" I asked as I noticed my front door slowly open and a women walked in, the screen wasn't clear enough and I could barely see who the girl was.
"No get out of there, turn around." I screamed at the tv, knowing she can't hear me.
The girl made it through my house slowly, making sharp turns. I knew something bad was going to happen as she made it through the kitchen and into the bathroom. She peeked her head in and turned around, but Ron was too quick. He had her in a choke hold and she continued fighting, but his grip was too tight.
She fell to the ground as he let go of her neck and he grabbed her by the ankles and pulled her through the house. He looked up to one of the cameras and walked towards the one in the living room. He pulled down his mask and mouthed the words.
'We're coming'
He blew a kiss to the camera and pulled up his mask. He then grabbed a black bag and started to shove the girl into the bag and made his way out of the house.
I watched the camera on the front porch as he carried the bad as if it was just filled with clothes. He had no trouble putting it in the car either and then he drove off.
My heart physically hurt, I pulled my knees up to my chest and continued to cry.
Is he taking her here?
Is he going to kill her?
About an hour passed and I heard a car pull up and the double doors opened. I was met with Ron with the bag over his shoulder.
"You're getting a roommate babygirl."
