I couldn't help but wonder how many times my mom has called or even how many times Jeremy has called. I miss them both so much. Nala must be starving, my poor baby.

He keeps the screens on day and night making it able for me to watch my apartment. Nala is still in her crate, even though the tv has no sound I can tell she's barking and whining. The only thing I've ate since he abducted me was crackers and he's given me one water bottle. I've tried to make it last as long as possible, but eating something so dry is bound to make you thirsty.

I haven't seen anything on the news beside the virus, there hasn't been anything about me. Maybe nobody noticed?

I've been trying to keep track of the days but it all gets confusing I think I've been here for 2 or 3 days. To my surprise he hasn't tried to do anything to me, he barely even comes to the basement. I just keep asking myself, why me?

I was taken out of my thoughts as he walked through the door. He slowly made his way to the foot of my bed and he rested against the desk. He sat there silent for a few seconds until he spoke.

"My names Ron." He plainly said. He paused waiting for me to say something, but I had no response. His eyes were locked on his hands as he was fidgeting with his thumbs.

"Alexis Elizabeth Gray, born December 28th 1992 in Cleveland, Ohio. Moved to San Fransisco in 2010 for better work opportunities also to be with your mom and dad. Moms name is Ruth and Dads name is Frank." He continues to list facts about me that honestly I barely even remember myself. It seems like he was talking forever from naming my grandparents name's to what sports I did in high school.

As he finished talking he looked up to me again expecting for me to say something. As he realized I had no response his eyes moved back to his fidgeting hands.

"Well since I know so much about you, I think it's only right for you to know some things about me, huh baby girl?" He smirked and continued to talk. "My real names Ronald, but I go by Ron because how dorky is Ronald. I was born here, in San Fransisco, my mom and dad both died a few years ago, but we won't get into that right now-"

"What do you want with me." I interrupted him out of his long speech and he seemed startled.

"Now listen here Alexis, you will not interrupt me. You will do as I say and when I say it. This is just the beginning for us so I suggest you follow my rules. Got it?" He said as he wrapped his hand around my throat and pushed me against the bed. I struggled to breath as I nodded my head and his grip loosened.

"Good, now where was I? Oh, right. So both my parents died. I grew up in a pretty nice household, both of my parents were in the picture and were very supportive of my goals and whatnot. I went to college, got my bachelors in psychology and was going to become a Psych teacher, but then I met you. I became infatuated with you and the though of having you. I made it a personal mission to get to know you, learn you and study you." He rambled on and after a few second my ears became fuzzy.

I stopped listening and my mind kept wandering from Jeremy, to my family and friends. I kept replaying one memory in my head.

I was seven years old, my family had invited basically the entire neighborhood to a cookout, we were having the normal, hot dogs, beans and so on. As I was sitting there a butterfly came into my view and I followed it around the yard. It felt like there was nothing else on this planet except for me and that butterfly. I didn't even realize where I was going until I had ran into a very large object, it was a man. My mom had just hired him to cut our grass, he might have done it three or four times.

"You used to cut grass for us." I spoke out, realizing I probably interrupted him and he doesn't like that, but I didn't care. It had finally clicked, I knew this man.
