"I bought cameras for inside and the outside of my house, I'm hoping they come in soon." My conversation with Jeremy just made me forget about everything. It was so easy to talk to him.
"That's good baby, I hope you're safe." He reassured me, making me smile on the other end of the phone. "I can't wait to meet you and spoil you, we're gunna go out to eat the second the world opens back up baby, I promise." His words about our future gave me so much excitement. Having a man in the house will definitely make me feel better about my situation.
"Alright baby I'm going to let you go. Have a good night. Drive safe for me." I said as I turned the water on in the shower.
The phone call ended and the water from the shower splattered. I stepped in and let the water run down my body. Relaxing my senses and keeping me at ease. My cameras should be here tomorrow and I can finally set them up.
As I stepped out of the shower the fog made its way throughout the bathroom. I wiped the mirror down and looked at myself in the mirror.
My eyebrows needed done, and my lash extensions were sparse. This quarantine is making me realize how much I rely on makeup and the beauty aspect to make me feel better about myself and my appearance.
I grabbed my tweezers and started to pluck the hairs around my eyebrows. Today is going to be a little spa day for me. Finishing up my eyebrows I took out my nail polishes and face masks.
My music blared throughout my apartment as I tiptoed around so I don't mess up the paint on my toes. My face was stiff because of the mask which caused me to make the weirdest faces. After my nails were dry I took off my face mask and made my way to the back door.
"Nala, come here baby girl." I yelled but her little tiny footsteps didn't follow my order. "Come her Nala, let's go potty." And again she didn't come.
I walked through the kitchen into the living room. The front door was wide open along with the screen door. My heart started racing and I ran outside screaming my puppies name.
"Is this your dog". A deep voice said to my right side. The familiar man walked up to the side of my house with Nala in his arms.
"Yes oh my gosh I thought she had run off thank you so much." I thanked the man and he let her go onto the porch.
Nala started barking uncontrollably at the man, I picked her up trying to reassure her but her barking was consistent. I thanked him again and quickly went inside and shut my door. I peaked through the window on my door as I watched the strange man slowly make his way away from my apartment.
Flashbacks instantly flushed me as I realized it was the same man from the store, and strangely he looked like the man that was at the over look. Immediately I ran up the stairs trying to escape these weird feelings I was getting.
I looked through my drawers searching for a specific matching set of panties and bra. The set was stunning, they were a baby blue color with little rhinestones all over the fabric. My mom had bought me them for my 24th birthday and I felt like this was the perfect occasion to wear them. Nala patiently sat there and watched as I settled for a yellow set and dressed my naked body. I put the pair on and grabbed my robe and threw it on and tied the rope across my waist.
I grabbed the bag from roses that had the screws in it and proceeded down my steps with determination to fix my door.
It took me about an hour but the door was finally fixed and I felt more calm. I took a deep breath and rested my back against the wall.
"Finally" I said to myself. Nala started jumping on me and I realised that she had a different collar on.
This collar is black with something that looks like a shock collar on the front. I unlatched the collar from her neck and inspected the box attached to the collar.
"Is that a camera?"
