"Shuuummmaiii" kokichi groaned
"What?" Shuichi responded, it had been about two hours after the call started and the entire time kokichi had been telling jokes and annoying shuichi
"I looovvee you more then panta!" The liar laughed, making shuichi blush lightly
"Nihihi thats a lie though!" Kokichi quickly said, shuichi rolled his eyes
"You really suck sometimes." Shuichi sighed disappointedly
"Hell yeah I do."
"Goddamnit kokichi."
"Hm?" Kokichi giggled "Oh did you think I was talking about something dirty shumai?"
"N O-" Shuichi groaned blushing lightly as kokichi kepted giggling
"Suuureee." Kokichi teased
Shuichi then heard a knock on his door
"Ah, sorry kokichi, I'll talk to you later." Shuichi spoke quickly before hanging up, not giving kokichi time to cry over the phone.
Shuichi stood up from his desk and opened the door "Yeah?" He questioned seeing his uncle holding a box for him "This came in the mail for you finally." The taller male said handing the package to shuichi
"Ah thanks!" Shuichi said gratefully, though scared it'd be something weird. From what shuichi knew, the before game him seemed pretty strange.
Shuichi grabbed the box and shut the door. He grabbed skizzers from his desk and put the box on his bed. He opened it up to find a bunch of plushies.
Shuichi stared im confusion for a bit before reaching in. The plushies were soft, but looking closer at them there seemed to be alot of plushys lumped together. Digging through the box he found a weird looking bunny plush, a medium sized robot plush (mechomaru 🥺🥺), and a few weird fluffy ''''weapons'''' but definitely the weirdest thing were three plushies wrapped in plastic that said
"Prototype Plushy: Shuichi Saihara"
"Prototype Plushy: Kaede Akamatsu"
"Prototype Plushy: Kokichi Ouma"
Shuichi smiled slightly 'The hell?' He thought as he unwrapped the plushes, they looked almost exactly like the people whos names were on the packaging
"Aww." Shuichi mumbled, definitely weirded out but he did have to admit that they were cute. Shuichi took the box off his bed and arranged the plushes around his room, leaving the friend plushes alone until he grabbed his phone and took a photo
[Shumai : Hey kokichi, Look what I got :)]
[Shuimai has sent an image]
[Koccihi: I got one of those too (ノ^o^)ノ]
[Koccihi: Maybe everyone got some!!]
[Shumai: That'd be strange]
Shuichi smiled for a minute before realizing that it had been getting late. Shuichi sighed quietly leaving whatever text Kokichi sent nexted alone, shuichi got ready for bed. He couldn't help but grab the Kaede and kokichi plushes and put them on his pile of pillows before sleeping uwum

(My idea was that pregame people could have opportunitys to get prototype merch of their game if they chose, and I also headcannon that Shuichi & Kokichi went to the same middle school before highschool split them, but they stayed friends uwu)
