This was supposed to be a song;
a symphony of the emotions
you left behind for me to feel,
but I never could find the right words for it.
It was not something I had planned;
this route I'm going do is just a getaway
so I didn't have to face the reality
that I had to deal with the pain and stay.I'm running now,
trying to keep up with your path;
the one I wanted to follow,
to see why you chose to leave that way.
I questioned my sanity sometimes,
wondering if I could've done something differently,
but every time your smile passes through my mind
I drop to the ground, my tears comforting me tightly.So there's no rhythm
But there is rhyme
just a paper, a pencil,
and time.
I'm sorry I couldn't say these things to you,
I'm sorry I lied,but this was suppose to be a song
but this wasn't for youthis was mine...
