"So that's exactly why I was getting a bit angry when ya ass came over to say you was single" I told her

"I understand" she simply said

We'd been talking about this for a bit. She didn't budge at first but when I mentioned how she was super jealous about Doja and how she wanted to come see her when we went to NY, she understood me. I couldn't be sure of what'd go down when I met up with Doja and she wasn't there. I didn't want to be selfish and stop her from seeing other people but I knew eventually we'd end up back again so it was better to keep it safe. And I also-

*phone rings*

"At 3am?" I questioned grabbing my phone

*Doja would like to FaceTime*

"Shit" I whispered

"I'll be back" I told Nic

"Where ya going?" She asked me

"Remember how I told you I had some shit to deal with when I go to New York? Yeah well they're calling me right now, ima be pissed if they don't need me anymore" I told her

"Mhm, alright ima get ready for bed" she said getting up and heading to the restroom as I stepped out the apartment.

I called her back once I was quite far away from the door and she quickly answered.

"What's keeping you up at 3am?" I told her

"Just been thinking bout you and you know.." she said showing me her playing with herself.

"Doja it's 3am for me and 6am for you" I told her

"And you're awake and don't seem tired, so what's up?" She told me

"I got company over" I told her

"You got some other bitch over at ya place?" She said

"Why do you care, we been over this we ain't a thing" I told her

"If we ain't a thing then why you coming over when you fly out here" she told me

"Because we're close friends and I ain't gonna go over there and not stop by everyone place for a last time" I told her

"You know damn well that's not all you gonna be doing when you come here" she told me

"Go to bed Doja, the faster you-" I said before I heard the apartment door open

"So my flight is in 2 days, we can talk about this when I'm there" I told her

"But-" she begun to say before I hung up

"I don't even wanna go anymore" I said out loud hoping Nic would hear and not question who I was calling.

"You know we don't have to" she said putting her arms around my neck and deeply staring at me waiting for me to make a move.

"I can't let them do work themselves, I was the fastest worker" I told her

"Whatever, come show me how fast of a worker you are" she told me as I mentally rolled my eyes feeling bad for lying and fucking her right after.

I was turning into her. That's not what I wanted. We aren't together though, so it's not as big of a deal as it was when she did it.

5 and a half hours later
Date: December 14, 2019.
"You really know how to put me to bed" she told me

"The only way to" I said

"I'm gonna call my parents and let them know I'll be going so I know they'll be home" she told me

"Go for it" I said rubbing my eyes still kinda tired

We only got about 4 hours of sleep. The fact that our flight was in 2 days didn't help either.

"Hey mom!" Nic said talking on the phone

"I'm going back to New York to visit for a while" she told her

"In 2 days"

"No I'm not going by myself"

"Umm well you'll meet her when I come over"

"Yes mom, I know you don't believe in homosexuality and gay marriage"

"Because, I don't believe in that, I don't have the same belie-"

"That's not what I'm saying"

"Just pass the phone to dad please"

"Hey da-"

"No no, that's not-"

"Dad come on"

"If you guys are gonna be like that then I might as well just not visit you guys"

"Alright, bye" she said hanging up the phone

"Well that was a quick conversation, they barley let you speak, what happened?" I asked her

"When I mentioned you they automatically assumed it was a lesbian relationship" she told me

"What do you mean assumed, isn't it the truth?" I asked her

"Yeah but they don't know yet" she told me

"Well are you not gonna visit them?" I asked

"Yeah, but I want you to come" she said

"Me??!" I responded

"Yes you, if you're there they won't be so harsh on me" she told me

"Are you sure they won't judge me?" I asked her

"I'm sure, and eventually they'll have to meet you, it won't be the last time they'll see you" she told me

This made me feel even more guilty because of yesterday. She wanted me to meet her parents and was ready to come out to them.

"All comes to worse we can just hang out with your family, I just want to be surrounded by people who aren't my parents" she said

"That's good, they'll love you, you have a such a good personality" I told her

"Especially my sister, you'll probably get along with her, y'all both annoying as fuck" I told her

"You're annoying" she said rolling her eyes and laughing

"Actually, maybe I'll cancel the hotel and we can stay with my family" I told her realizing how along she'd be if I just left her in the hotel

"Really?" She asked

"Yeah, and if you wanna visit your friends you can grab one of our cars, I'll make sure to talk to my mom about it" I told her

"Oh no it's ok, I don't plan on visiting any friends, a lot were mad I left and I don't wanna see them upset" she told me

"Alright well you'll just stick with me the whole time" I told her smiling

I just hoped no one would mention my old job.
