"Cardi" I said placing my hand on her shoulder and shaking her

"What?" She asked still half asleep

"We're here" I told her

"Already?" She asked me

"Yes, you swore you wasn't gonna sleep on the plane and look at you" I told her

"It was" she said stopping and looking around to make sure there weren't people listening to us

"It was the sex" she said in a more quiet tone

"Get up" I told her nudging her shoulder as I laughed at what she had said

She got the carryon and stood up from her seat as I followed

"Excuse me, could you pass me my carryon, it's the grey one" a lady behind us said tapping Cardi on the shoulder

"Yeah sure" Cardi said grabbing the bag

"That's mine" a lady in front of Cardi said

"That's my bag" the lady behind us said

"Sorry ma'am but she asked me to give her this bag because it's hers" Cardi said

"But you can't touch it, that's my bag" she told Cardi

"You should stop worrying about a luggage that isn't yours and move the fuck forward you're stopping everyone from leaving" Cardi said

"Cardi!" I told her elbowing her

"What? It's not her bag and she looks like a dumbass" She said grabbing the bag and handing it to the lady

"Thank you so much" she told Cardi

"You're welcome" Cardi responder and continued to walk out

We were instructed where our luggage would be and we waited for a good couple of minutes until ours finally showed up. I grabbed mine and Cardi grabbed hers. We walked out to the exit and asked for a cab.

After waiting a good 14m, our cab finally arrived.

"I got it ladies please take a seat" the man said as me and Cardi handed him our bags and went in the back seats

"Where are we heading?" He asked us

"The Bronx, could you drop us off at Bronxdale Ave by II Bel Cafe" she asked him

"Sure thing" he said

It took us about 55m to arrive. Once we did Cardi ordered some breakfast as we waited outside.

"Here is your food ladies, enjoy" the waitress said setting our plates down

"We gonna get another cab?" I asked her

"Nah, I told Henny to come in about 20m" she told me

We ate and had small talk, she told me a lot about the Bronx, I usually stayed in my City and never really went out far from it. It was cool hearing her experiences here while growing up.

As we finished eating Hennessy pulled up. We threw away our trash and grabbed our stuff and threw it in her trunk.

"SISSSSSSSSSSSERRRRRR" Hennessy screamed giving Cardi a big hug

"I was barley gone for like a month" Cardi told her

"And? That ain't an excuse not to miss you" Hennessy said to her

"You must be Onika" she said smiling at me and giving me a hug

"Yes that's me, and you're Hennessy, Cardi's sister right?" I asked her

"That's me" she said giving a big smile

"Alright hop in, mom left to the store 16m ago, hopefully we can get home before she does so you can surprise her" Hennessy told her

"Have you told mom?" Hennessy asked her

"About what" Cardi responded as Hennessy looked in the rear view mirror and I could tell she was looking at me

"Nope" Cardi said noticing she was talking about me

"Why not?" Henny asked her.

"Cause you already like that, I feel like I was the only one left who wasn't" Cardi told her

"You know you ain't gotta be scared, I got your back" Henny told her

"I am gonna tell her, it just won't be the first thing she hears while I'm here" Cardi told her

The ride was short, we weren't far from the Cafe. We got off and Hennessy helped us with our things and I thanked her. We quickly got inside and put everything down in Cardi's room.

"You guys tired?" Hennessy asked us

"A bit, she slept through the whole flight tho" I said

"Cardi?? She slept through the flight?" She said surprised

"Yes bitch" Cardi responded to her

"You give her some tea or some shit?" Henny asked me

"Something like that" I said letting out a laugh as Hennessy did too

"I can tell y'all gonna get along" Cardi said rolling her eyes

"Henny tomorrow ima head out to help Star and them sell" Cardi mentioned to her sister

"Sounds good I'll be here all day" Henny said

"Nic gonna stay here tho" Cardi said which I was confused because I thought she'd take me with her

"Sounds good sis, we got a lot of catching up to do anyways" Hennessy said

"Oh, you know that one psycho bitch, she came looking for you the other day, I guess she thought you'd already got here" Hennessy told Cardi

"Who?" Cardi asked as Hennessy pulled out her phone and seemed to show her a picture but I couldn't see

"Ohhhhhhh" Cardi said

"Yeah, I'll tell u what she said later cause mom just texted me, she needs help with the groceries" Hennessy said heading outside

"So who was looking for you?" I asked her

"Just some crazy bitch from around here" She said as her mom walked in and dropped the bags to hug Cardi

"Mija why didn't you tell me you were coming?" Her mom told her with such excitement and went in for a hug

"Sorry mom, I finally got the chance to so I came for Christmas time" Cardi told her mom

"Who's this?" Her mom asked pointing at me

"This is Onika, Onika this is my mom" Cardi said

"Well it's nice to meet you, you're gonna have to tell me how you met Cardi, where you work, and all that" her mom said smiling.

I wondered if Cardi would even tell her mom at all. I wondered who Hennessy showed her a picture of. Too many questions.
