SOOBIN

I didn't realized how long I have been staring outside. The view of a bird arriving on its nest was just that fascinating, I guess.

Or maybe because it's the new semester, everyone seems that excited while I just feel like shit. Having to be back at school meaning that I would see Yeji again after these 2 months of isolating myself at home or studio. It's a good thing that she was in different class this year, with him.

"whatcha lookin' at?"

I got startled a little by the voice coming behind me. I turn to find her following where my gaze were.

"nest" I simply said, turning my head to the view again.

I can see her nodding from the corner of my eye, "ah, interesting" while she take a seat beside me.

"yeah", I turn to her again, "you're here" reffering to her being in the same class with me when she should be in the same class as her twin or Yeji.

Lia nods, "just checked the classroom list and found my name right under yours." really? I didn't even notice.

I nodded, "I thought you'd be in the same class as your brother"

she scrunched her nose, "that would be a bad idea since the whole class would hear us hard headed twins debate about which one is better, bubble tea or coffee" she jokes, I chuckled a little.

And then it went silent for a moment. I had my eyes back on the bird again, and drown in my own thoughts.

"rough night?"

I turn to her again, raising my eyebrow at her question, "what?"

"you looked like there's a lot of things going through your mind right now" she shrugs, "was it the meeting?" I blink in confused.

"your band meeting" she explains, "that's why you're MIA* yesterday, right?" *missing in action

"oh", shit, now I feel bad for not showing up yesterday, "yeah. right. that band meeting." I scratch the back of my head, "No, It went great actually"

She mouthed an 'o' and again, it went awkward silent.

"sorry for not coming yesterday" I suddenly blurted that out. I do feel bad about it though.

She shrugged, "it's okay, not a big deal anyways" and smiles, "I mean, I understand how your so big and famous now, I get that you were busy"

I scrunched my nose, "I'm not that famous"

She raised an eyebrow, "you're seriously saying that you, Choi Soobin, the student body president slash the lead vocal of TXT the popular band of the year, not that famous?"
