It's been a week since the new semester starts. It also means that it's been a week since I became classmates with Soobin.
Was it awkward at first? yes. VERY.
I've said it before right? how there's this huge wall between him and I? Well, we never interacted that much during camp days. Heck, he never interacted with any girls other than Yeji at that time, just because Yeji used to be in the same class as him druing 4th grade.
But now, I think we interacted much better than before. We had a one or two conversations a day.
In just one week, I've learned a few things about him.
Choi Soobin is... surprisingly not what I expected him to be. In a good-funny way I mean.
He's the youngest in his family and he lives in Seoul with his sister, her husband and also his cousin while his parents were back in his hometown. His dimples are just that deep even when he smiles a little. He's a 6.1 feet tall but he doesn't like sports, especially swimming. But, he loves music so much that it's almost impossible for him to spend a day without touching his guitar to write songs.
Well, that's just about it.
I looked outside the window, following his gaze , "still staring at the nest?"
He shrugged while turning to me, "I'm waiting for the baby bird to fly"
"are you gonna make a song about it?" I joked.
"maybe" he smirk.
oh, and another thing that I learned from him. He smirks a lot.
I looked back to the front of the class and sighs deeply.
"something's wrong?" he asks. Well, I'm that obvious when I'm anxious or not happy.
I turn my eyes back to him, "you're a judge?"
HIs lips form into a thin line, well he wouldn't brag about it, "why do you ask" he asked.
"I just saw the flyer outside on the billboard" his mouth form an 'o'.
"well, you should-"
"no, I won't" I cut him off and look back to my desk.
There was a few seconds of silence before he speaks up again, "why not?"
I looked back at him, "because..." I sigh again.
He raised one of his eyebrow, "because... I'm the judge?"
"what?" I furrowed my brows and shook my head, "No, it's not that"
"then..."
I sigh again, "well... because I kind of gave up singing a long time ago" yeah, a bummer.
