"well look at the time"
I was just about to walk to my room when I turn around to find Joohyun-noona standing in the kitchen with her arms folded in front of her chest. She was looking at the clock behind me, which says 8:45 pm.
"oh noona, didn't see you there" I blinked innocently.
She clicked her tongue and her arms now rested on her waist, "you were out for a looong time, young man"
young man? "you sound like mom" I scrunched my nose in disgust.
"well, I cook you food, give you a place to stay and not to mention give you allowance every month. So technically, I AM your mom" whoa, what's with the attitude? did she have a fight with Seokjin-hyung or something?
"geez, noona, what's up with you?" and with that, she just give me the deathliest glare that I've ever seen on Joohyun-noona. Seriously, is she on her period?
I put my hands up in the air, indicating that I give in, "alright alrght! I'm sorry for coming home late"
She just sigh and her glare becomes soft, "where have you been, soobin? Beomgyu said you skipped band practice to go to someone's house" her hand form a quotation in the last word, as if she knew where I have been.
"yeah, I was at Yeonjun's" I answer calmly. Well, it is true isn't it?
"Yeonjun's or Lia's?" what the- how did she- I furrowed my brows and was about to open my mouth to say something when she leaned in and took a sniff at my shirt, her eyes shot open as if an idea came to her mind, "cherry blossom scent!" her high picthed voice comes out, "Beomgyu was right! you were with Lia aren't you?"
Great. Thanks Beomgyu. I can clearly imagine him and his big mouth saying "ah pretty-noona! nope, Soobin's not here, he said something about going to Lia's house. By the way Noona, don't you miss handsome Bbamgyu though?"
"well, I wasn't lying when I said I'm from Yeonjun's. Lia is Yeonjun's twin sister after all"
Joohyun-noona must've seen my annoyed face when suddenly a smile appear on her mouth, "so does that mean you got a new girl now?"
"what- no noona, I was just paying a visit." I explain, "Yeonjun said she was sick and I was just trying to be a good classmate"
Joohyun-noona just nods, "hmm so she's Yeonjun's twin sister and also a classmate" she tap her finger on her chin, "are you sure you two aren't dating already?"
"noona"
"Soobin"
"don't be so naive"
"you just got home from her house and doing god-knows-what in there." she shot an eyebrow at me, "who's naive?"
