"Well look at you!" Vaas laughs, still leaning on the doorframe, "You look ready to kill someone." He crosses his arms.

I loosen my muscles and take a breath. I relax and Vaas takes a few steps toward me. I back up a few steps as he approaches. He is finally arm length to me. "Don't worry hermano, I'm not going to do anything." He then places his hand on my shoulder and I jump at the movement and touch. He looks at me, smiling and snickering, "okay..." he takes his hand off of me and then walks back a little, "It's good to have you back Jason. And you know, you haven't done anything for me yet, so you have nothing to worry about." He laughs, "I'm not going to kill yet."

That worries me. That word. Yet. It doesn't matter though.  I'm not going to let him kill me. I would kill everyone in this camp and Vaas. I would burn it all down like I did with the weed and blow everything up, like when I blew up that boat, before I die.

I stare at him, not knowing what to say. We stand there, in a breath of silence and he finally brakes it, "So, mm, Jason, you want to have some fun? I have some free, hmmm, play things." Vaas chuckles at himself and crossed his arms again.

I didn't like the way that sounds. I look down at my wound and the rest of my body, "...no. Actually if anything, I want some rest. It's been a long day and night. Besides, Vaas, if you want me to work for you, then I need to rest anyway."

He gave an 'ok, sure' nod and smiles, "Okay, alright. You know Jase, you're really boring for a fucking white boy. I thought you loved to party and have fun and all that shit." He sighs in disappointment and shakes his head.

"Well if you haven't noticed, I was stabbed and beat by the Rakyat. I was also tackled by your men, so I'm kinda tired and worn out." I roll my eyes at him.

"Okay... okay... come with me then. I have something for you." He starts to walk but I find myself not moving. I can't move, it feels like my feet are glued to the floor. This is just all wrong. He notices I wasn't following and he looks back and stops, "What the hell Jase? I said follow me motherfucker." He starts walking towards me.

"Ok, ok, sorry." I immediately say before he reaches me, "it's just... well..." I don't know what I'm doing or saying. Vaas flares at me and grabs the collar of my shirt and drags me up to his face.

"What did I fucking say? Hm? What do you think I was lying, do you think I was bullshitting you? Yeah? Well no, hermano I wasn't! I told you, ok and it's not like I am fucking crazy! But it's ok, I'm going to chill, I'm gonna relax. But you know Jason, I'm. Not. Gonna. Fucking. Kill. You. You know you just fucking think, that I have to make a fucking choice! But no, no, no, no, no I already did! Don't worry hermano..." he went from being casual, to a rabid dog, to being open. I didn't know what to think other than to kill him. He continues, "Don't worry Jase..." he brakes off his sentence and lets go of my shirt and I stagger back a little.

Vaas starts walking towards the door again and this time, I followed.

We walked around some parts of the building and we reached a room. It wasn't very lit but you could see enough to recognize what was in it. I looked around and saw cages filled with women, men, and different animals all lined up against the wall. In the back center of the room against the wall, there was a slightly bigger cage that had some blankets and pillow on a small cot. Other than the cot, it was empty. When I lay my eyes on it, it instantly clicks. That cage is mine to stay in, "Vaas, what is this?"

"Well hermano, as you know, this is your new home!" He puts his hands out to show it off like he was in a commercial showing off a new car. He laughs to himself, smirking at me.

"Vaas I'm not going to run away. I don't even have anywhere to go, besides it's an island and I can't swim all the way back to the main islands. What would I do there anyway? Everyone would try to kill me and I would be moving nonstop."
