Hello, I want to go ahead and say that I didn't really edit with chapter, but I promised you I'd post two chapters today. We have one more until the 'end' of my first book, but I'm falling short with reviewing. With that being said, don't mind any mistakes and I love you all! Enjoy! ❤️

I wake up on the floor, to Carlos opening my door, "Hey Brody, you awake?" I move on my side and stretch, squinting at him, "I can tell you had a good night." He starts laughing.

"Yeah... I haven't slept that good in three months. Even if I'm on the floor." I get up and stretch more, yawning, "We ready to go?"

"Yep. Vaas told me to come and get you, we're loading up the boats right now, just get your weapons and head down to the docks."

"Alright. Thanks Carlos." I smile at him with tired eyes.

"No problem man, I'm glad you're feeling well too, we're gonna need that!" He chuckles a little and closes the door. I put my boots on and head towards the weapons shop. This time I get a bow, an assault rifle and an SMG, both with silencers on them and a shotgun. I'm ready for battle. Or for the ambush.

I get everything else I needed and could carry, then I headed down to the docks. Vaas is sitting on a small crate, "Jason, you sleep well?"

"Couldn't have been better. We ready?"

"Yeah, Carlos is getting everything else, we found a hill for Carlos. He'll be there if you need him. Anyway here..." he hands me a small radio, "No one will talk on it unless it's you and someone answering back. Other than Carlos, he would most likely be telling you things, he'll be your scout."

"I know. I'll radio you if we're good, or Carlos will."

"I know." Vaas gets up as Carlos is walking down to us, "Alright in and out fuckers! Everyone knows their part." Vaas starts to walk away but I stop him.

"Oh hey, Vaas." He turns to me, "I know my family's alive. Thank you but you just had to tell me." I say. Vaas looks down and puts his hands on his hips. He looks back up to me.

"You gotta go." He dismisses me and starts walking away and instead of replying, I step in the boat.

We leave on the boat and head to Amanaki town

We get to the island and we ride in trucks to the village. Before we get there though, we stop and unload everything so they wouldn't wake up from the trucks engine. Everyone grabs their weapons and circles around me and Carlos, "Ok I will go up on the hill right over there," Carlos points and explains, "wait until I get there and get set up, I'll radio Brody when I'm good. When he leaves, all of you surround the outter perimeter." He points at the big group of pirates, "Don't do anything unless me or Brody says to, or if you hear an alarm or know Brody got caught. We good?" All the pirates nod.

"Yeah." I say, "You ready?" I ask Carlos.

"Ready as ever. Don't worry I got you covered." He plants his hand on my shoulder and shakes me a little.

"Yeah I know... hopefully I won't need your cover, or the pirates." I take a deep breath and let it out slowly.

"Hey Snow, you'll be ok." He pats my shoulder, "If it's too much for you, radio me and we'll help. I know they were your allies at some point, and you are still recovering from..." he looks away.

"No, I know. Thanks Carlos. I think I'll be ok though. I've got this." I say assuringly. Carlos nods.

"Alright, Snow, I trust you. Take it easy. Good luck too." Carlos smiles at me.
