Jason's POV

"Who is this?" Vaas whispers, shooting his eyes towards Batari.

I look back at Batari, "That's Batari... she's not a threat alright."

"Jason who is she? Where did she come from? Hm?"

"Vaas, I just told you. Calm down." I say, placing my hand on his shoulder, "I'm saying this now, ok? She's not a threat. She actually helped me escape. We can talk about her later, but right now I need to tell you something. You and Carlos both. Just trust me, ok?" I say again. Vaas and Carlos glance at each other and they both nod. Vaas turns around and starts to walk, Carlos and I trailing.

"...Sure. C'mon. After we talk, you need to be cleaned up. You look like shit...again." Vaas sighs and looks back at Carlos, "First Carlos has to do something." He flips his head up and towards Batari. Carlos nods back at him and Vaas puts his arm around my shoulder. We start to walk up to the planning room.

"What did Carlos have to do?" I question, knowing the answer already.

"He had to do something..." Vaas tries to dodge my question but I stop and I swat his arm off of me.

"Was it with Batari?" I cross my arms. Vaas glances at me and leans back on the table. He looks down shrugging. I scoff, "what the hell? Really!? I said trust me. She's not a threat. Then you don't tell me?"

"I know she's the enemy! You got captured by someone and brought someone back! I could see it all over your fucking face!" Vaas gets off of the table and takes a step towards me. I stand in place with my arms still crossed.

"Vaas... where are you putting her?"

"In the big cage." He says now crossing his arms.

"Why in a cage?"

Vaas looks at me with confusion. His expression instantly changes and he starts to laugh, "Wait a fucking minute! Whoa, you like her don't you? Jason, are you shitting me?" He scoffs and shakes his head.

"What are you talking about? No I don't! She helped me escape. Alright every time I got the shit beat out of me she was there to help." I say and Carlos opens the door. I stop and look at him. Vaas does the same but leans back onto the table.

"Jason, it's just until I talk to her. You have something to tell us though." Vaas looks back to me.

"Ugh." I sigh, "sure." I take a deep breath, "The night I got taken, well there was a big guy: tattoos that went from his arms to his chest. Red straps going up his hands. He was blind in one eye and he towered over me, really big, tall, and he had lots of muscle... he's with the privateers." I describe Lupo.

"So he's the leader?" Carlos asks, "Why was he in the Rakyats territory?"

"No he's not the leader. And it turns out, the Rakyat and Privateers are together, like they're joined up and they're trying to wipe us out, it will make sense once I tell you everything. So Dennis leads the Rakyat right?" Both Vaas and Carlos nod, leaning in waiting to hear what I have to say, "Well, there's only one leader to the privateers and it's.... it's... Citra..." I say.

Vaas leans up, staring at me blankly, "what the fuck did you say? I'm sorry did you just say that my sister is still alive?" He looks at Carlos and it looks like worry courses through his face.

"I know, I couldn't believe it either. She is though. Dennis knows she's alive now too, he didn't come see me. But the big man who took me, his name is Lupo and he's like her Lieutenant or something. He does the dirty work."

Carlos walks over to me, closer to both me and Vaas, "so Citra wanted you?" He asks.

"Yeah... she uh, she wants me to join with the privateers but I didn't. She wanted me to tell her where our base was."
