Peeta and Katniss

Chapter 13

a/n so I am going to write what they wrote in the memory book right down here at the end I might write a little bit about what either Peeta or Katniss are thinking. The picture above is Mr. Everdeen (Katniss's father) I couldn't find any other pictures. Also they don't ever say his name in the books so him and Katniss's mother are going to be called Mr. and Mrs. Everdeen.

Mr. Everdeen

Father of Katniss and Primrose Everdeen

Husband of Mrs. Everdeen

Mr. Everdeen was a coal miner in district 12. He had an amazing singing voice and people said when he sang that even the birds stopped to listen. He hunted illegally in the woods to feed his family. He taught his daughter, Katniss Everdeen, how to shoot a bow and how to hunt. He died in a mine explosion.

(Katniss's pov)

It is really hard to write about my father. He was the most important person in my life, as well as my best friend. I am close to tears when I write this, I know that I should write more, but I don't know if I could handle that. I look blink away my tears. I don't want Peeta to see me cry. Once I am sure they are gone I look up and say, "This is all I can think of right now." I think Peeta understands that I want to be done writing about my father because he just nods an ok
