This is how Hoseok basically dresses in this book. Idk, I just felt like I wanted to share how I thought he looked cuz it's attractive lol

"You okay, Seok? You've been off since we left Mr.Wang's office." Namjoon voiced his concern once they were finally done for the day. He kept a brow raised toward his best friend while they exited the building.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Hoseok mumbled, mindlessly fishing for car keys in his coat pocket.
"Because your car keys have always been in your right pocket yet you're search your left."
The brunet halted, quickly switching pockets.
"That doesn't mean anything."
"Sure it doesn't." The taller smirked before patting his partner's back. "Well I gotta go. Promised Jimin we'd catch a movie after work."
"I didn't ask for you to share your love life, Joon. I'm single, you're not suppose to share that kind of stuff to someone that's single."
Namjoon held his hands up with a chuckle. "My bad. Totally my fault that you haven't had dick since college."
"Shut up before I tell Park that you broke another sound equipment today. You can kiss that movie goodbye."
"Fine, fine. I'll stop. See you tomorrow, Seok."
The clumsy giant walked off with a skip to his stride, making the older sigh as he watched his friend go about his happy life. Once Hoseok entered his car, he slumped in his seat, thoughts poking through his own unsuccessful love life.
It wasn't that he couldn't get a boyfriend, it was more that he didn't think it would be fair for the other guy. He's not the best looking but he's not the worst looking either if he's had multiple hook ups in the past. In his opinion, his personality was pretty good but he just didn't want to waste anyone's time. Other than his decent looks and personality, he didn't think he had anything else to offer. His apartment was small and he only started becoming financially stable after taking the paranormal investigator job two months ago— which he could get fired from if he ended up getting on his boss' bad side again.
He'd rather save them both the heart break and struggle.
Hoseok stood outside of his apartment, scared as shit to enter his own place.
What if the pretty ghost was in there?
Wait— pretty? No, of course not. Though he wasn't as frightening as the ghosts they showed in movies.
Just fucking go, you wingless chicken. His conscience scolded him which pushed the male to unlock the front door, stepping into the dark living room.
Without a word, he switched a lamp on, tossing his bag on the couch. Everything seemed normal and looked as if nothing's been moved since he left in the morning.
That didn't stop the brunet from checking.
"Ghost? I know you're in here! Ghoost~" Hoseok embarrassingly singsonged, looking around the room.
"I have a name, you know?" A voice came from the bedroom doorway, startling the paranormal investigator who jumped, holding in his scream.
"Holy-fucking-shit, you scared the balls outta me." The taller clutched his chest, heaving for air while he watched the familiar pale being casually walking out of his bedroom.
"If you knew I was in here then why'd you get scared?" Yoongi teased, guiding the male's bag from the couch to the coat rack with only his finger.
"Why the hell are you in here in the first place, you pale fucker?" Maybe Hoseok was being a little insensitive but he was irritated that the ghost trespassed his apartment— let alone found amusement in annoying the exister.
"Why? Did you not enjoy my company last time?" The ghost questioned with wide eyes and naturally pouty lips.
The younger couldn't tell if the other was still mocking him or if he was genuinely asking but it didn't matter when he responded with "No, why the fuck would I?"
"Oh." That wasn't the answer Yoongi had expected. Guess the feeling wasn't mutual. "I'll just leave then. Sorry for scaring you, Hoseok." He smiled sadly, walking backwards in hopes that he'd somehow make the situation less awkward if there was more space between them.
"Wait—"
The shorter halted, eyes hopeful.
"Don't leave yet." Hoseok bit his lip, praying that he wouldn't regret his decision later. "I wanna ask a few questions that I've been curious about."
Yoongi thought about it for a second, contemplating if he'd somehow put him or the liver in a complicated situation by staying. But then he realized he really didn't have anything to lose.
So he nodded.
"Sure, I'll stay."

There are so many underrated authors out there that it makes me wish I had a bigger follower base only because I want to be able to promote those authors. I mean, I can do it but I feel that it wouldn't make much of a big difference. Even some of my readers/mutuals are excellent authors. I've read so many good books that caught me by surprise when I found out the author barely reached 300 followers like that shit's crazy!
I'm not a big author but I'm grateful that I actually have a good amount of readers—heck, I have Oxymoronic Eyes to thank for that. That book's the reason why most of you guys are reading this right now! It'll always have a special place in my heart :')
Do you guys know any authors that you feel are underrated? Or just authors you favor in general?
