Prologue

"SOMETHING JUST TOUCHED ME!"

"It's a plant, Hoseok." Namjoon shushed his partner, pointing at the sulking dead flower next to the male's arm.

"THEN HOW IS IT CARESSING ME?!" Hoseok panicked, gesturing at the brown petals slapping his skin back and forth.

"There's a fan behind it, dude." The taller irritatedly sighed, looking back at his temperature detector in hand.

Hoseok peeped behind the plant, indeed seeing a fan blowing air directly toward the pot.

"Oh." The older laughed, nervously running his hand through his sweaty brown hair.

"Now will you shut up and help me gather some data for our boss." The pink-haired giant was frustrated at this point. The director of the paranormal show they've been working for had sent them to an abandoned house near the edge of old town San Diego. Having fucked up their recent episodes and damaging multiple sets of sound detectors, lately the duo hadn't been on their boss' good side.

"Sorry, Joon. I didn't know you had the fan turned on." Hoseok apologized while trailing behind his co-worker. "For a second I thought-"

Namjoon suddenly stopped, stiffening in realization.

"I... I didn't turn the fan on..."

Both males fearfully glanced at each other.

"Is that so." The brunet chuckled before grabbing their equipment and bolting out of the door.

Hoseok screamed once again when he accidentally brushed against the same dead flower on his way out.

I'm going to be completely honest, I only have like the first couple chapters planned out and the ending for this book but not the actual events.
