"What do you think would've happened if I was born around your time?" The ghost questioned out of the blue, his boyfriend looking up from his bowl of instant mac n' cheese. "Do you think I would've taken the path of an underground rapper? What if I ended up in the same job as you? Would we have ever even met?"

"What's with the sudden deep questions?" Hoseok chuckled, shoving a hefty amount of macaroni in his mouth. Yoongi shrugged.

After their little steamy business in the morning, the couple watched movies in the brunet's living room for the rest of that Saturday afternoon. The older was thankful that his boyfriend didn't asked any further questions about his sudden two-week disappearance. It let his tired mind distract itself for the time being.

It wasn't until around 9pm, when Hoseok decided to heat up store-bought mac n' cheese as dinner for himself, that Yoongi's thoughts found their way back to his head.

"And to answer your questions, I'm not sure." The younger spoke up again. "But I hope we would've met. I hope you followed whatever dream you would've had. If you decided to be an underground rapper, I hope I would've been your number one fan in the crowd."

Suddenly, Yoongi's ghostly heart turned into mush.

"What if I were to be an exister? Would you still like me?" The white-haired male chewed his bottom lip.

"That's a dumb question. Of course I'd still like you." The brunet rolled his eyes. "I'd like you just as much as I do now. I fell for your personality and beauty not your living status." That last part made a light giggle escape Yoongi's mouth.

It was then that the ghost decided to tell his boyfriend about his problem. "Hoseok, I need to tell you something." The said male raised a brow at the sudden seriousness laced in the other's tone.

Yoongi proceeded to tell him about everything that Doori had told him. He started with how him and Jin were both Designates— explaining how they've earned their place and why they were able to do certain things that normal ghosts wouldn't be able to. For instance, making physical contact with livers.

Then he finally got to April 11th, explaining the choices he had to chose from. He laid out the pros and cons of each one, showing just how complicated things were for Hoseok's dead boyfriend. Yoongi told him about Seokjin having already made up his mind to stay as a ghost for his two boyfriends.

"You can only imagine what kind of argument we had after that." The older sighed, looking at the brunet who looked like he had a hard time processing all the information.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner? Why hide from everyone?" Hoseok pouted, feeling bad about the whole thing. He wanted to be able to comfort the ghost during times like these.

"I needed time for myself to think about everything. It's a big decision that I have to make, Seok. I know myself and if I just went straight to your house, then I would've been distracted by you the whole time."

The younger hummed nodding. On one side, he understood why his boyfriend's friend would've been upset about Yoongi choosing to live. On the other side, he understood why the white-haired ghost found it hard to simply choose to stay as a ghost for his friends. He wanted to be a little selfish which he really couldn't be held accountable for.

"I think you should really talk this one out with Seokjin, Gi. Make sure he understands your point of view on things before judging you for having a hard time." Hoseok suggested, reaching his hand out to hold his boyfriend's hand. "You two need each other right now more than ever. I'll just be here if you need me."

Yoongi looked at their hands, intertwining their fingers together, before looking up at his boyfriend who had an encouraging smile plastered on his face.

He knew the exister was right.

The ghost wasn't expecting to be pulled into a hug right when he got back home.

His best friend almost sobbed at the sight of the shorter male. Thanking whatever fucking being answered his wishes for the younger to come back soon.

"I was so worried! Holy shit, Yoon!" Seokjin only tightened his arms around Yoongi when the guy tried prying his hands off of him.

"I get it, I get it! Now let go, you're breaking my bones that I don't even have!" The younger was finally released, immediately stepping away to give a but of a distance between them.

"I'm sorry for being selfish, Yoongi. If you want to live again then I won't stop you from making that decision, I promise." The raven head apologized guiltily, taking the other ghost by surprise.

"You're... you're really fine with it?" Yoongi questioned skeptically.

"Yeah, I talked with Kook and Tae about it. They told me I needed to understand your perspective and how you feel about all of this." Seokjin sighed. "You've told me about how much you hated this kind of life yet I ignored it. If that exister makes you happy, then so be it. I want you to choose for yourself. If you chose to live, I'd rather you live knowing deep down that I supported your happiness even if you wouldn't remember."

Yoongi felt himself tearing up after hearing those words. "I-I still don't know what I'm choosing but thank you, Jin."

The older flashed him a sympathetic smile. April 11th was less than a month away, his best friend would have to make up his mind sooner or later.

"I just have one request..."

"...What request?"

"I wanna meet Hoseok."

This one isn't much of a rant but I'm just going to inform you guys about how things are gonna go with my books 🐷

I've written the chapter summaries for my ongoing books and from my estimate, Death's Charmer will be ending somewhere around Chapter 19-20 along with an Epilogue. And in the end, I'll be recognizing some underrated authors that I feel have works that deserve more attention. (Feel free to suggest some underrated authors or books. I'll take any books as long as they're ship books— I don't read y/n books, sorry)

For my Outlet to Heartbreak readers, that book is estimated to end around Chapter 21-22 along with a bonus chapter.

For the future, I'll be taking a tini-tiny break (by that I mean probably a few days LOL) before working on my new Sope book that'll be a texting AU :) I was actually supposed to publish it before Death's Charmer and Outlet To Heartbreak but you guys wanted a ghost/paranormal investigator AU first so I complied. Then I ended up pushing the texting AU back because I wanted to write another sad Sope book, Outlet To Heartbreak. It'll be crack and the concept is unique (I hope) but I won't release details 'til then.

Thoughts on any of these? Any questions for me?
