VOTE OR I'LL LOCK YOUR CHILDREN IN MY BASEMENT

Hoseok came home to a grumpy midget rolling around his bed.

This whole 'teleporting-out-of-nowhere' thing was still something he needed to get used to. It was only natural that the younger jumped after seeing the lump under his sheets.

"Fucking hell, Yoongi. Stop doing that to me." The brunet cursed, taking off his brown coat and tossing it on the bed. The older groaned, pushing the piece of clothing off the mattress and onto the floor.

Hoseok sighed, walking over and taking his coat back before placing it on his lap when he sat on the edge of the bed. "I thought you would've spent a longer time than just a day at your house. Why are you back so early? Not that I'm complaining."

Yoongi only kicked around with a whine as a response, the thick comforter engulfing his small frame. The brunet scratched his head, this guy's like fifty years older than him (if you included the years he's been dead) yet he's the one acting like a child throwing a tantrum.

"Yoongi, stop being a brat." The younger rolled his eyes, pulling the blanket down. He admired the sight of the ghost's pale skin and white button up nearly blending into the sheets. Even his snowy hair emitted the exact same color under the night lamp's glow. His eyes were shut, brows furrowed and naturally pouty lips protruding with a frown.

"Show some respect. I'm older than you." Yoongi scolded, feeling the brunet grasp his wrists, slowly pulling his upper body up into a sitting position.

It still felt weird to be able to make physical contact with anyone else other than his three friends but if he had to admit, it was nice.

"Then start acting like it." Hoseok retorted, keeping his hand on the ghost's shoulder as a guard to make sure he wouldn't purposefully fall back on the mattress. "Are you okay?"

See, why couldn't Seokjin approach him like that? He could've been gentle and caring but instead he started yapping about his assumptions without letting his best friend talk or explain himself.

"I got in a fight with Jin." Yoongi admitted, playing with the younger's fingers— something he knew would end up as a habit the longer they spent their days together.

Hoseok responded with a nod, feeling the ghost twist the silver ring on his pointer finger. He liked Yoongi's delicate touches. His hands were soft but there was no temperature to them. They weren't cold nor were they warm (which was expected since the death male didn't have blood running through his system in the first place). It was an unexplainable feeling.

"Can I ask why?" The younger hummed.

"His overprotectiveness is just suffocating at times." The ghost hated to say it out loud but it was the true. "I love him but he monitors every single thing I do. Where I've been, what I've been doing, why was I out so late— everything. He's my best friend not my parent. He treats me like a kid when we're literally the same age."

"But did you tell him that?"

"Tell him what?"

"What you just told me? I've never met the guy but if he's a real friend then he'd accept your honesty and stop hovering over your business when you don't want him to." Hoseok was pretty good when it came to giving advice and he knew it.

He was just bad at receiving it.

"I don't like when you're right." Yoongi glared, the other laughing. The older actually really loved Hoseok's laugh. He rarely showed it in the few days that they've known each other but it was pretty and genuine.
