After her first meeting with the Shinsengumi, she began to visit them more often, occupying her afternoons between going to the barracks and going to the Yorozuya, including her days off. The policemen sometimes called her with ridiculous excuses, even asking her to check them three times a week, just as a precaution, to visit them and, incidentally, stop how strict the vice commander was with them.

The Yorozuya when noticing this also began to demand more time, asking for her help in some jobs or just calling her to come visit them. Indirectly, both sides were fighting each other for her time, leaving no time for herself.

Because of this, she decided to spend her next day off at home, enjoying the tranquility of her home, indulging herself by doing the things she had put off, like watching a movie, taking a bath in the tub, or reading a book.

So, that day she had woken up late, deciding to sleep as much as she wanted, and then take a long bath in a hot tub. Once she had satisfied that desire, she went to prepare breakfast, something light, since it was close to lunchtime, and once she had finished, her phone rang, listening to the voice of Kondo-san on the other side, asking her to come see them, that it was urgent, because everyone in the Shinsengumi was in danger, and that she was the only one who could help them with that problem (in his words, Toshi had told him that she was the one to help them with this).

The whole story sounded like an excuse to her to go see them, and although she had thought about spending the day off with herself, she couldn't deny help to someone, least of all if they were friends, so she agreed to go see them immediately.
She got ready quickly and left her department in the direction of the police station.

Once there, the boy who had given him her bun received her, according to what they had told her, his name was Yamazaki Sagaru, who told her a bit about the problem while guiding her to the training room.

According to the boy, the problem was that the place was haunted by the ghost of a woman in red who appeared at night, leaving the men who saw her paralyzed and sick, finding a lot of men on futons severely ill, with marks in the neck. After showing her this, he guided her to where the vice commander, commander, and captain of the Shinsengumi were, meeting them in the backyard along with the three Yorozuya hanging upside down from a tree branch.

Seeing them like this deeply impacted her, since this was an ancient and barbaric method of punishment, in which the head position would make them lose circulation to the extremities, making circulation difficult, in addition to agglomerating blood in the head, all of which was extremely painful. Horrified, she asked them (or rather ordered them) to lower them right now.

After they were lowered, she approached them, worried if they were okay, asking them how long they had been hanging and if they wanted to rest. Kagura dropped onto her lap just like Shinpachi, leaving no room for Gintoki, who only dropped his head on her shoulder, while she put her hand on his forehead, running his silver curls to feel the temperature of her front. Still unable to believe it, she cast a stern glance at the three chiefs of the Shinsengumi.

-Guys, how can you think of doing something like that?- said (Y/n) reprimanding them- You could have caused them severe damage, they are also children- she continued, caressing the red hair of the girl and the forehead of the boy with glasses.

-(Y/n) they're not children, they're that guy with silver perm's entourage- answered Hijikata, annoyed that his sister bothered them because of a bunch of idiots- plus they were trying to dupe us by posing as exorcists- he exhaled angrily.

-(Y/Nn)-nee, don't believe them, they always treat us badly- said the little Yato, hiding her head on the (H/c) haired girl's chest- and my head hurts so much.
