The Yorozuya had only stayed one day at her house, since the next day, according to what they had told her, they received a package from Sakamoto as payment for breaking the house. Inside the package were two alien carpenters, Unkei and Kankei, who repaired the house (after falling for the boys' lie over and over again about a carpenter named Mokichi).

After that things had returned to normal, they doing the jobs they were given during the day or just doing stupid things. She had returned to her own normality, spending the entire day in the hospital, and her afternoons split between going to the Yorozuya and the police headquarters.

Everything was still normal, until that day.

The hospital was going to have an anniversary party that night, to which all the staff were invited, she was practically forced to go due to pressure from her mentor. During that same day, she saw how all the nurses wondered with whom the coveted doctor would go, who approached (Y/n), inviting her to go with him. Surprised, she didn't know what to answer. She didn't want to go to the party with him, because even though she got along with him at work, there was something about him that made her feel bad.

So, without thinking, she replied that she already had a companion for the party, since she was dating someone. Surprised, the young doctor smiled at her, telling her that he was eager to meet the lucky one.

The problem now was that she didn't have a "lucky" by her side.

She was thinking about it all day, deciding that she would ask Toshirou to accompany her. He was her brother, and she knew he wouldn't want anyone to put a finger on her, so he would be happy to accompany her.Indeed, he would have accompanied her, but when she arrived at the barracks he was leaving, saying that today he could not be with her since he had to patrol around Edo, taking Sougo with him.

With this, two of her options were out. She could ask Kondo-san...but she knew it would be awkward. The trusty option she had left was the silver haired samurai, knowing he probably wouldn't do anything productive this afternoon. With this in mind, she made her way to the house above Otose's bar, nervous.

Once in front of the door, she was surprised by the lack of noise in the house, thinking that perhaps they weren't there. She knocked on the door over and over, without anyone opening it, letting out a sigh. She was at the foot of the stairs when she felt the sliding door open, turning to see tired red eyes peeking out. When she saw him, she smiled at him, while he signaled for her to enter the house. Once inside, she sat in one chair, while he leaned back in the other, planning to continue sleeping. Seeing him, she cleared her throat to start the conversation.

-¿Where are the children?- She asked in a friendly tone.

He didn't answer the question, turning his back on the girl to understand that he wanted to continue sleeping, however, she was determined that he would accompany her, since it was the last option left to her. She got up from her seat, dropping to the side of the chair he was lying on, her face inches from the nape of his neck, feeling the sweet smell emanating from his silver curls. Meanwhile, he could feel her breathing, tickling his spine.

Since the incident with his memory he felt more awkward near her, knowing that the small fragment he had kept deep in his heart was growing. Even though the feeling filled him with warmth, he didn't want to give someone that power again. The power to destroy him with a single act, or with a word. Thus, since staying at (Y/n)'s house, he was avoiding being alone with her or the sentimental moments, only sharing with her when Kagura and Shinpachi were close.

However, now none were home. The little Yato was walking her huge dog, while the boy with the glasses was shopping for the month. Now he was cursing himself for being so lazy and not accompanying either of them, without foreseeing that the (H/c) haired girl was probably going to appear out there.
