It had been several days since she could go to visit the Yorozuya. The policemen had been spending her time in the afternoons asking her to bless them all, which took several days, in addition to having to accompany Kondo and Chief Matsudaira to speak with the Tendoshu, what was a complete disaster.

Later, due to the excellent performance she had in the emergency room, her boss and mentor decided to move her to that room for a while, so she was leaving late at night the hospital.

Despite not being able to visit them, she had seen them from time to time. One day at lunchtime, in a store, according to what they told her, replacing Hasegawa-san, and another day she only saw Kagura, who tried to sell her Gintoki's wooden sword, which caused her to laugh, refusing to buy it, since she had her own sword (although now she didn't use it much anymore).

The last time she saw them was in the huge cockroach incident, where she ran in terror to Gintoki's house, so he would help her with the bugs (those things had always grossed her out and panicked, and in those occasions, he always took care of her), finding that the house was full of huge cockroaches, because they had the queen. She couldn't remember anymore, because as soon as she saw the house, her eyes turned white, she began to tremble and fled the place.

Even though she missed them so much, she didn't expected to see them today, like her patients. According to what she had read in the file, the patient had had a traffic accident, becoming unconscious, before which he was brought to the hospital. When he woke up, he didn't even remembered his own name, according to what the nurse told her.

She knew who the patient was, after all, he was the only one who had driver's license at the Yorozuya home. Thus, when entering the room, trying to remain calm, (Y/n) saw her silver haired friend on the bed, sitting, surrounded by the kids who lived with him: Kagura and Shinpachi. She approached in silence, hearing that he didn't recognize them, and took a seat next to him.

-Gintoki, you don't remember me?- she asked him, taking his hand, as she looked directly into his red eyes.

-No...-he answered confused- Surely you were the doctor who received me... but I can't remember you- said Gintoki, still confused and sorry for the situation.

At the man's response, the children's faces became one of extreme concern, at which she looked at them with her usual gaze, remained the same as always, warm and gentle, without a hint of despair. After examining the silver-curled samurai and seeing that he was fine, she dedicated herself to telling him what had happened to him and reassuring him about his concerns, specifically, about his memory, telling him that it was normal to have memory loss after the blows to the head and trauma.

After finishing talking with him and making sure the nurse brought him what he needed, she went out with the little ones to the hall. Once there, she devoted herself to explaining and reassuring them, telling them that Gintoki's memory could come back at any time, and that getting him closer to the everyday things in his life could help him.

This, she herself discharged him the same day he entered the hospital, seeing how the girl with red hair and the boy with glasses were taking him back home. Even though she knew there was nothing she could do but wait, she felt uneasy and couldn't focus on her work, just thinking about the red eyed man and the children.

She tried to focus all that was left of the morning, however, she couldn't. The only solution that ocurred to her was to beg her boss to advance her vacation, offering to pay even three times as many days, before which the old doctor couldn't refuse, after all, he had also seen the amnesiac patient, and through the nurses, he had found out that the patient was acquainted with (L/n)-sensei, perhaps even her boyfriend.
