Chapter 7: B e a c h

She was excited by the call she received from the Yorozuya, inviting her to the beach. It was Gin on the phone, telling her that if she wanted to go with them, she would, however, they were going for work, and that he was inviting her at the request of the children, what she happily accepted without thinking it twice, agreeing that they would meet at 8 am that day at the terminal. Only after hanging up did she thought that she would have to work that day, and that if she wanted to go, she should ask his boss, an elderly doctor, for a day off.

That's what she did the next day. Timidly knocking on the door to her boss's office, she entered when he gave his permission, closing the door behind her as she headed for the seat across from the desk, where a little old man with white hair and glasses was.

-What is offered to you today, (Y/n)-chan?-asked the old man, sorting the papers on his desk. He had always been tender with her, patiently teaching her. 

-Ehm...Sensei, I wanted to ask you for a day off tomorrow- said (Y/n), looking directly at him- I have something like a familiar trip to the beach... I promise I will give you back the day, even double if you want, please~- ended the (H/c) haired girl, begging at him. 

-A familiar trip uh...- replied the doctor thoughtfully- Ok, but you will have to return the day to the emergency room- he smiled at her. 

-Really? Thanks a lot sensei, I'll do my best work at emergency, I promise- said (Y/n), with a great, big smile.

-Is there something else you want to ask me?- asked the old man, refocusing on the papers. 

-No, no, I'll go back to work now- replied the female, standing up from the chair- Thanks again, sensei- ended the girl, leaving the office with a smile painted on her lips. 

The smile was painted on her face all day while working, thinking that tomorrow she would go to the beach with her friends, thinking about everything she would do on the beach, like playing with Kagura-chan in the sand, play with a beach ball, swim in the sea, bury Gintoki in the sand... 

-Ah~ it will be a great day- she said as she stretched, walking home to prepare things for tomorrow's trip. 

She prepared four bento for tomorrow, her bikini, her clothes, some sweets for the afternoon and her personal belongings, which took her almost until midnight, added to the excitement of the trip, which caused her to fall asleep late that night. 

For all this, even if she fell asleep late the night before, (Y/n) woke up early that morning. She showered, and put on the beach dress that she prepared yesterday, a beautiful white dress, with a modest neckline, tied at her neck, that reached her above the knee, accompanied by sandals of the same color. She let her hair down, putting sunglasses on her head, in case the sun bothered her (E/c) eyes, and taking the things she prepared yesterday, the (H/c) haired girl was ready to go meet her friends at the terminal, leaving her house. 

She came to meet them early, perhaps too early, since they had not yet arrived,so she leaned against the wall of the terminal to wait for them, since she was feeling weak, attributing it to the lack of sleep and the emotion she had for the trip. The wait didn't last long, since then she spotted the three Yorozuya, accompanied by Otae-san and Hasegawa-san. Raising both arms, (Y/) greet the gang with a big smile, running to meet them. 

-Good morning guys~ -she said, still running, feeling increasingly weak as she approached the terminal, ending up spreading into Gintoki's arms- Ugh... sorry Gin, I think the lack of sleep and the emotion are taking their toll on me- continued (Y/n), smiling faintly as he held her in his arms. 

-¡You idiot ghost! You should know that even ghosts need rest sometimes- replied the samurai, taking her to a bench far from the terminal to rest, even if it was a little- I hope you recover in this time, because I'm not going to take care of a sick ghost.
