(Ah, the temptation to title this -alliteration there, lol- chapter "tododeku" bc of the first fight was overwhelming, but I don't ship it that much so decided not to XD I used to ship it... but now I only ship it in doujins... like, the canon characters, I don't see them having a romantic relationship, and in fan art/doujins I see them more as completely separate characters, you know? What I do ship, however, is bakudeku. I love bakudeku, idk why. Prolly bc I also ship kagehina and narusasu—)

(Oh and if you're wondering, yes I do have straight ships and don't consider myself a fujoshi, and if you don't ship the same stuff as me, that's your opinion and I'm in no place to judge. Nontoxic multishippers where you at??? Literally everyone x everyone is how I am, except for the... bad stuff... like all might x Deku, endeavor x todoroki, and mineta x bakugo... just why. Btw, this chapter is longer than some of my others but not that bad. I'll end this here, sorry for kinda ranting lmfao)

Deku and Shoto start their fight, with ice being countered by a flick using One For All. Neither of them make any progress in beating the other, until Deku shouts something at Shoto.

"It's yours! Your quirk, not his!"

A second passes, when suddenly, Shoto's left side is set ablaze, raging fire heating up the ring. You hear Endeavor, Shoto's father, shout something to him, and one specific part stands out to you.

"Live up to the reason I created you!"

Created? That's disgusting, like he's just a tool that you can use and throw away when you're done with it... like he means nothing...

Like he isn't even human, not to mention your own damn son. No wonder he didn't want to use his fire...

Ice fills up the arena, Deku jumps across it in pursuit of Shoto, and then fire replaces the ice. Cementoss and Midnight do their part to stop this before one of them gets seriously injured, and in a the next second, there's... some sort of explosion...?

Air is blown in all directions, as well as dust and some debris. Nobody can really see what's happening, and there isn't any clear sign of a winner yet. When the dust clears up, Deku is out of bounds, and collapses.

Shoto stands in the ring, most of the clothing on his left half burnt off, still fully conscious. Realizing it's your turn next and that you should get going soon, you hurry out of the stands and get to where you need to be.

Your match this time is against Iida, who shouldn't be too difficult... except for that Recipro Burst move that he showed off in the cavalry battle. In the end, you use quirks that let you jump around easily, like OFA (imma just shorten it down it the book, I'm lazy asf) and Explosion to dodge him and then Midnight's power to make him pass out.

With a glance to Midnight, she nods and announces you as the winner after making sure he's fully unconscious. You watch as he gets taken to Recover Girl and walk away, back to the stands. Yet again, the next match goes by quickly, with Tokoyami victorious.

The next match, however, is a bit more interesting. Kirishima and Katsuki. Generally, Katsuki goes on the offensive and is full-on attack, but he sticks to dodging Kirishima's punches. It doesn't take you long to figure out why; his quirk isn't good with long or drawn out fights.

So, after dodging for a little while, he starts attacking and of course, he wins. Soon enough, it's your fighting time again, but this might be more difficult.

You have to fight Shoto.

Using ice alone, he's powerful, but you have the advantage of using his fire against him. After his fight with Deku, however, he could use his fire again. If he does... it won't be easy. At all.
